The tattoo only hurts in certain places and nothing a bit of teeth grinding wont get past and as for the flesh tunnels, they only hurt when you stretch them too far.

Like you start off with normal ear piercings then you stretch them using 'Stretchers' which are like cone shapes, this is where it hurts the most but as you get bigger and bigger it becomes easier to do as the weight of the tunnels themselves stretch your ears normally.
