Instalation help

Hey all, hope its the right place to post this. Like title says, need some help with instalation.
In gamezaion page (connect) doesnt states that ncsoft official laucher is necessary, but it must be, am i right?
If so, how should i proceed in order to play aion in this private server.

Not really since you don't need any files from retail anymore as the torrent contains a full, standalone client.

 

Hiya, you dont need NCsoft launcher to run Gamez. (Retail current version is 5.1 while Gamez is 5.0).
Download the client using our torrent, the launcher can be found on our website as well.

 

Only way to run the game is apparently if you download Aion via torrent from here.

 

Ty for quick reply, i installed the client through the connect option in gamezAion page, but it must be an older version since i get a prompt saying the game is not updated.
Gonna try this as soon as i get home and see if it works.

Ps: im from europe, which server should i join?

 

Lumiel is EU server but it has low population. You will find more players on Siel.

 

And ping wise, is there much difference between servers? Asking because i know this game is ping dependant (mostly in PvP of course).

Well, you will definitely see a difference in ping. It depends a lot on where you are from, but you will get ping somewhere around 40-80 on EU server and around 150+ on NA server. I'm not saying this is a rule for everyone, it also depends on your internet connection speed. The best option for you would be to log in and to check your ping on both servers. I get 70 on Lumiel, and close to 200 on Siel, but it's still playable for me.

 

Playing from Portugal, so i think I'll try what you said. So i can log on one server and then change later if i want is it that?

 

Yes, you can create characters both on Lumiel and on Siel. You just go to server selection and click the server you want to play on.
