Solved NEED HELP

Good Afternoon, I need your help regarding the game, first of all i just finished downloading the game, I know that the new patch is coming which is "5.3" this may 12, 2017. But i want to play, Now here's the problem, The game that i just downloaded is "27.4 GB" all in all. I can start the game, then login, but i cant go further in picking characters, i can only go on choosing the server (Siel or Lumiel) then got disconnected. my OS is Win 8.1 - 64 bit, Hoping that you will help me and can play the game soon as possible, Thanks

Did you download your game via torrent? Do you get any error message or the screen just stops after selecting a server?

 

Yes, I download the game via Utorrent. and yes, i got error after selecting a server

 

What you can do is download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x64). After that, run your game, check if it works. If you still disconnect, open your Aion folder and place this file into there. Right click on the BAT file and create a shortcut, then drag it into your desktop. Having done all these steps, start the game by double-clicking the shortcut in your desktop!

 

If this thing won't work, maybe the problem is my OS, I do have a laptop here which is Win 7, if this thing won't work in my win 8, can i still do thing with my win 7?
