SEA (SOUTH EAST ASIA) CONCERN

As far as I interact with friends and other players there many SEA players I encountered and got 3 digits ping about 200 - 500 ping and I'm thinking about the merging of lumiel what will happen to the SEA players in the siel ? I hope they are looking for good connection with SEA servers and I believe SEA players deserves 2 digits ping AND ALL PLAYERS AROUND THE WORLD

 

It won't happen, because lumiel server will be shutting down on the 3rd day of June.

I do not believe there are any plans in-place to accommodate different regions within Siel at the moment, however I think this is a topic that could be discussed. We do agree that all our players should have a fair chance and a similar environment to play in however I am sure you already know there are hundreds of instances where things are depending on third parties as well, not just us. I will certainly forward this message and will keep you up to date if anything gets updated regarding this.

@Grimmjun Lumiel server will shutdown and players from the lumiel will migrate in siel would you please think again more people more latency ?

 

with the merging of lumiel into siel you will have an unbelievable amount of maybe 10 players more. 10 more players won't make a difference in latency as it mainly depends on your internet provider and your connection itself. Then again the region from which you connect will affect the ping yeah, but defo not the few more players joining siel.

Then you must have some next level connection (which means horrible).

You should probably stop making up excuses just so you might get a better ping. you should know that in the end it is impossible (don't tell me you believe into your fairy tales of low ping for everyone) to make a server which gives a low ping for everyone as long as we all live on different sides of the planet. It is not possible, not yet atleast, who knows what we might get in 5-10 or maybe 15 years.

Yeah, thats true some of SEA players got 3 digits ping.
some of them are playing on internet cafe!

 

i'm from SEA if i use battle ping .... ping ~220 , it still good for me to pvp , delay 0,2s

 

impossible for everyone to have a 2 digit ping.. the closer you are to the location of the server the better ping you have, and this has been the golden rule for every game, if you want gamez to establish a server around SEA just to accommodate the SEA players that's unlikely to happen, they closed a server that is almost a deadzone( at least this is how majority viewed the situation) what do you think will happen to siel if PH players will be move to a different server? im not saying that the whole siel is from PH but my point is MAJORITY of siel's population is from PH whether you agree with me or not its the truth.

what kind of needs are you pointing out?

 

Put the server in Iceland or in Antartica, then we all got best ping (probably talking about 700-1000ms).

 

I have tested Gamezaion on PLDT Fiber in the Philippines and the result is not to great. from a normal ping of 230ms of DSL to 210ms in Fiber, i think we need to flex our port forwarding skills to make it to 2 digit. someone i know just tested to use battleping and divert it to the hongkong server (battleping server) and got a 88ms he also said to use some portforwarding technic which he never tought to me.
