AION GameCLient crash

Hi,
just after I clicked start on launcher the Aion logo shows off and then the Game Client crash

Here is the error report :

What is the exact error that you are getting?
That information isn't really helpful for us.

 

"Aion has stopped working." (picture)
Problem regarding the launcher crash has been fixed for the player.

Solution: Go to your Aion folder, right click the folder and select 'Properties'. Make sure to untick 'Read-only' (the box must be empty), and click 'Apply'. Appy it to all subfolders. Run your game as an administrator.

hi! im getting same problem along with sendlog. i already did the properties thingy..

 

I cant download launcher
Note: GamesAionLauncher.zip is not commonly downloaded and my be dangerous

 

It's only a false positive, there is nothing to worry about. Set your entire Aion folder or only Gamez launcher as an exception.

Are you sure you left the box empty? Did you download the game through the torrent, and if so, was it a clean download or you updated your 5.0 old client?
One more question, do you happen to have any anti-virus? If so, turn it off temporarily and run the launcher as an administrator again.

Since it is the same issue for you as well, you can perhaps answer these questions below as well if you don't mind, other than repeating you have the same problem. You know, the more information we have, the easier it will be for all of us to search for a solution.

 

hey When i empty box and click apply then ok and turn off properties window if i open again box is still filled. Can't empty it it fils again is this known issue?

 

I do not think that would be the main issue as I have the same even after removing Read-Only, but as I said the more information we have from players regarding where they got their client and the questions I posted above, the easier it will be to pinpoint the possible causes so thank you for this.

 

Hello, now it works, it was the antivirus problem, but 1 more problem remains, the broker, it crashes when i press cosumables for example or weapons

 

It is a server issue, not related to the Gamez Launcher error. Hopefully, though, the broker issue will be fixed along with the other 5.3 issues that our team is zealously investigating.
