Sort of yea, but they also aren't a charity. With games that are buy 2 play or subscription based, you can afford not to sell OP stuff, but considering how much stuff you get ingame from events and all there wouldn't be many things left to buy or an incentive to buy them except for things that make you stronger.

However, I do agree that the prices have climbed too high and the new race restriction is a pain if you like playing both sides. I can remove it client side, will ask them if there are any plans to do the same server side.

 

well.. private server is suposed to be pay to win. there is no other way.

 

Geezus I just checked, they are race locked AND class locked. Separate item ID for Sorcerer/Spiritmaster/Bard on each side for cloth for example. All those restrictions can be taken out, but ye, not sure if there are any plans for that.

But there are also few ways to make game more interesting. To implement system a lot harder than retail aion have, so players can farm those gear ingame, not in few days ofc, it should take lots of time and effort, but still affordable for player who spends 3-4 hour in game.
Even PVE instance - low drop of pvp item that is actually not shit and good to use in this patch, even current new items, this would benefit server a lot, since lots of people love challenging pve content.. + chance to have exciting drop ? heh please.
To come up with this plan they need to shake their brains hard, which most of them do not have, sadly.

 

Well they do call it a pvp server and they do give out alright starter gear. The last thing "donators" (item mallers) want is to buy a set and have nobody to pvp because everybody is farming instances The population is too low for that.

 

instance with 24 hour CD wont create a problem.
its even possible to create a cool down system on player IP address, in order to avoid spammers.

I just checked and yea it seems like the stats are nearly identical. The difference is in the breakthrough skills mainly.

 

You must hae forgotten that we only get 84% of stats from BL which is obviously lower stat than the new gear. One more thing is that the new gear has high PVP

 

Look at the ss that smartik attached. Now calculate the 84% from BL and now do the comparison.

 

I have same stats like I have before update and there that 84% didnt work so we got 100%

 

Was going to say, I know the client side restriction is what shows the stat reduction, but the real question is whether they removed it server side. By the way my chars are still 65 so I get 50% reduction on stuff like WoC2
