    Get the new launcher from here. Extract the file and put them into your Aion folder. Also make sure your client version is 5.3. If it is not, you can update your 5.0 versin to 5.3 by following the steps in here.

    Agree with this one. Access denied is due to read only permissions on the folder, meaning the launcher can't save the relevant update files. The old launcher is actually capable of updating itself to the latest (assuming you have the right permissions), otherwise yea, you can get a new one from the website.
