someone wanna tell me why asmos are so favored on this server? why do Asmos have a ton of guards in silentera and elyos don't have anything more than a wide spread group of 3, Also Asmo hackers never get banned...

 

Funny, I think the exact same about ely. The grass always looks greener on the other side.

 

Ok, so here is the proof that asmo really have "more guards"

Also i would like to add, that ely sorc guads, have aoe skills such sleep/stun .

ive been on this server for several years... i left for quite a long time but atleast back then it was about even. now... its totally 1 sided. asmo are completely favored

We don't discriminate players based on their faction but can you please elaborate on what you mean by 'asmo are completely favored'?
If you encounter a case of favoritism then you will have to report it directly to @Puddles (Due to certain circumstances we currently don't have a HGM).

 

• hmm this topic is pretty little if people are complaining that the opposite faction has more guards then simple pvp somewhere far for their base unless u wanna trap them in their thats another story just dont complain if u get pulled by a temp and i really dont get what the line asmos are favored mean in the advantage of guards? that pretty much doesn't matter if your not near their base this is pretty much a pointless thread.

 

Gets proved otherwise to their accusations, denies accusation proof, carries on accusing staff of favouritism. I have noticed a few ely hacking that hasn't been dealt with, can't record em myself since they only roll in a zerg, but oh well. Like to know who these asmo hackers are though.

 

I don't see a point in this constant complaining. With all honesty you should go and find another hobby instead of complaining about something thats not even true. I don't really care about gamez problems that often, but seriously this shit is getting way too annoying at least post some proof next time.

 

Sad circumstances to be true, but I see what he means. On the Asmodian side, you have most of the good players all grouped up at the same time and in the same legion. SIM and S E L F I S H dominate the PvP areas when they're there because Elyos mostly "PUG" it when they're PvPing. I've noticed this since pretty much day one and there's nothing to really be done about it except switch sides and join the overpowered legions if you get tired of dying. Honestly it's not that Asmodians are favored by AM's or HGM's. It's that most of the good players switch to the side that they know is going to win.

If you look at recent history, various players I would consider very skilled and even some of my own legion made alternate characters on the asmodian side. It's simple. If you can't beat em, join em...

That's not to say that I personally would switch sides... I wouldn't want to look like a traitorous turncoat like SOMEONE I know... (You know who you are... >.> ) But regardless. It's not because of "FAVORITISM"... It's simply that the strong players switched sides to join a team of more organized and skilled players that can actually support each other efficiently. That's not favoritism. It's strategy.

Make an Elyos and go PvP. You'll see more by making a new character and playing than asking randoms for proof of something when they actually have no idea what's going on.

Well that's a result of people who aren't willing to work together. Those people who work as a team will definitely dominate those "Pugs", you're talking about. That applies to almost anything. If people refuse to work as a team, as a result, they get beat by people who are organized and cooperative players. Although, lately, I've seen someone like Magevanguarss, has been leading the elyos zerg, it was quiet interesting to see him try to get them to be organized. It was nice thing to see.

And, I appreciate what you said about the difference between being organized and favoritism. Speaking of favoritism, there was this AM in the past whose friend won an FFA tournament because this AM disqualified the opponents for hitting the friend which caused the AM's friend's death. There were 3 of them left to fight and the Am's friend was already dead but in the end, the AM's friend won the event. That's what I call real favoritism. I have so many great examples that could open people's eyes.

I have been playing on this server for awhile now and you bet I've experienced all of these favoritism that people are complaining about. I and along with many other people, experienced it personally in the past and because of that, I always try to be fair because I know how it feels.

As an active player, even if we serve the community as staff, we always do our best not to show favoritism to anyone, including our friends. I play both elyos and asmo and I have to agree with everything that you wrote.

 

It would be nice to see more organized Elyos, but I don't really think that'll happen. In the end it's up to the people that are playing to decide, "Hey, I want to win, so I have to do something different, because MY strategy isn't working...." But I don't think we'll see that any time soon.

 

It can be done but you're right, it's up to the people.

 

I have seen elyos run with more people but lose more often due to not working as a group unlike asmos but asmos fail a lot when they cant work as a group aswell so its tit for tat cant say one race is better then the other or staffies favour the other side I was in a RvR and the elyos won cos they was camping a gate so we couldn't hit them or our healers couldn't heal us when Templar pulled us but no one said the staffie that hosted that was favouring the elyos

 

When you look at it, the game is centered around group combat. If you don't have a group that can work together you'll almost always lose.

Normally I don't group up simply because I know the kind of groups I would normally find wouldn't help me at all. Also because I'm in full BL gear that's been maxed put. It's not really fair to most players to have to go up against me, AND eight other people in an alliance, no matter HOW disorganized they are. I've had hate messages and mail since I first got my BL armor and it made me think about things...

However... That's how I play. I enjoy 1v1 PvP. It just doesn't happen often in this game anymore, except in events. It's not how the game was meant to be played, but that's what I enjoy.

I would like to see more cooperation between Elyos. Maybe disband some of these useless guilds and start gathering up the best and most active players into one guild? It would be a start at least? I'm not sure it'd solve the problem but it would certainly make things more interesting...

you want to see fairness.....GM you should be ban from playing......otherwise you always have situations as Fendi said....
how can you do your job as GM while you're also a player......the tendencies to cheat and hack is always there......GM knows the mechanics and of course they will get away....
if you don't think GM cheats....just look some of the previous so call GMs......

 

I would agree with this only because of the history of player AM's... It's tempting, yes. That's why they're governed very strictly.

If you see an AM cheating, or you suspect it, please provide evidence here immediately, even if you think they're your friend. It's not a matter of friendship. It's a matter of keeping the Gamez community clean
