    Yesterday I downloaded the Game, but I can't start it. I click on the GamezAion Applikation, and then I have to set a Game Path. But no matter what I insert when clicking on browse, it says "Game path not found". As standard there's my "Download" Folder, and it's snot changing, when I browse another Folder. I read something about putting the Folder in the NcSoft Folder or GameforgeLive (?) Folder, but I can't imagine the last one. I tried both, and nothing worked. Can someone help? (maybe even in german? :D )

    Make sure that your launcher is inside your Aion Folder.

    The GamezAion Launcher? As I wrote, I put it in the Aion Folder, but it doesn't work either. (NcSoft Aion Folder) The Folder doesn't change, when I click on browse and then on NcSoft - Aion - ...

    I'm just gonna insert something here. All of a sudden when I restart my lappy and start the launcher, what it only do is load until 99% and the client goes black instead of showing the log in thingy. After a few minutes it closes itself. I've tried thrice but it is still the same. IDK why

    Here's how it should look like.
    Hmmm.. not really sure. Try opening your task manager maybe it's running, if it is, close it and restart the client. If it's still not working, try to use the bat.file.

    yes I did that. But well I fixed it already by restarting. Maybe the client got stuck when I performed a shutdown earlier. Thank you

    It's a common issue. It stops at 65% because it might be carrying big files, you'll have to wait for it to load completely.

    I understand the frustration. When @Smartik1 fixed my files for me last time, it was stuck at 65% as well, it took like over 30 minutes to load. If you just experienced this now, then eventually it will load faster if you keep on playing.

    Right click on your Aion folder, then go to 'Properties'. Afterwards, untick the 'read-only' option, meaning leave it empty. Then apply it to all sub-folders, run your launcher as 'Administrator'.

    Can you restart your PC then launch the game. If that doesn't work, try using the bat.file.
    To add, try closing all pin reducing software and Anti-virus or firewall.

    This is something coded in by NCsoft, not something Gamez came up with. I had a temporary workaround for it that worked on 32-bit clients, but that stopped working since the latest update as well. In general the client checks this when starting:
    ...\NCSoft\GamezAION\Data\dump\config.ini

    This file looks something like this:
    Code:
    [Game]
    HeapSize=133808780
    TempHeapSize=81317100
    ValidTableDump=1
    BitSize=8
    NormalStop=1
    HeapSize tells the client whether any files inside the Aion folder changed. If they did, it will re-validate next run.
    ValidTableDump and NormalStop tell the client whether the client crashed the last time it ran. If it did, it will re-validate next run.
    BitSize tells the client whether you last ran the 32bit or 64bit client. If you switched between the two, it will re-validate next run.

    The temporary fix was to run the client and quit using the quit button at login screen, then setting config.ini to read-only. This prevented the file from updating even when the client crashed and skipped the validation. You can try, but don't think it works anymore.

    So yes, there are quite a few annoying conditions. Just so you know, the loader takes pretty long even on high end PCs. Last time I got stuck it took a few minutes, but people I've teamviewered sometimes took 15-30 minutes at the 65% stage.

    Whoever is crashing, can you guys post more details:
    1. Did the client run before? If yes, what is the last thing you did before it stopped working.
    2. If this is your first time, I'd recommend hooking up the client back to the torrent and letting it re-validate, just to make sure no files are corrupted. You can also install/re-install DirectX 9.0c (the game usually tells you that you don't have it, but I've seen cases where it didn't and crashed instead).
    3. Post your hardware specs (CPU, RAM, Graphics card). The more RAM you have, the lower the chance of a crash in general. Also post whether your OS is 32 or 64bit.
