    Spear = (Attack Base) High Damage Output, Low Accuracy, Low Crit, Low Attack Speed
    Greatsword = (Speed/Accuracy/Crit Base) Low Damage Output, High Accuracy, High Crit, High Attack Speed

    Gladiator Male Char = Greatsword
    Gladiator Female Char = Spear

    Usually, I am referring to their skill animations.
