About the RollBack of the day 1/2/2018

We are a group of people who have come to play the official server from 3 different regions and we are trying to add more people to this server.
Now, if you are going to perform a maintenance of the server and then nobody to control how it works, you should not perform any maintenance.
After maintenance the server worked horribly for hours, disconnecting user and not allowing them to connect again, in addition to then perform a rollback of 5 hours where many were harmed.
A guildmate lost 13 Golden Daggers and also the enchantment of their equipment.
All this, without even an announcement explaining why or giving compensation for what happened.
To @Carl and company, if your idea is to throw this whole project in the trash, keep on going well, otherwise, try to be more responsible.
It is difficult to try to add people to the server when these things happen and the staff seems not to care much, although it is a pirate server where everything is easier, the time a person invests in it, has a lot of value, try to respect that at least.

 

The server had crashed. Most of the rollback was from players remaining on the server throughout,or as late as they could. I, and a few other players on discord, tried to warn about that. Those who logged out when the crashing was noticed, got little to no rollback.

 

First of all I appreciate that you take the trouble to answer me, besides I had the certainty that you would be the only one who would do it and give my face to this problem.
What you propose seems right to me, but you should bear in mind that many people leave their connected character doing "AFK" tasks or simply stand in a city to collect pearls. Obviously these people were not annotated.
In particular I was not directly affected by this rollback, but it does not mean that the posture of the server administration was not right not to do even minimally, an official post informing why the rollback. I think that in general it gives the feeling that the server administration does not care what happens in their community.
On the other hand a compensation would be necessary for the server's malfunction, NA has given compensations for much less, maybe I do wrong in comparing a private server with the official, but why not copy the good things that KakoGames usually does.

I understand your frustration, but I assume sometimes when something like this happens, a rollback is maybe needed to correct whatever problem caused the crash. I do not claim to speak for all of staff, but I do know they care about our players. Also, i must say thank you for your post. You brought up issues that concern you and other players, and did so in a respectful manner.
