Can't rotate using right click after windows 10 update

This is really annoying.
Now I can't play the game (Siel) because I cannot use the mouse R click/rotate function after windows updated on it's own last night. I already emailed microsoft but so far have no response from their devs.

Just wondering if someone here had encountered the same problem and solved it on their own.
Any sensible response would be appreciated.

Steps I have taken so far.
1. Reinstalled the launcher
2. Updated mouse drivers.
3. Clicked on 'fixed FPS'
4. decreased DPI settings
5. Tried windowed and full screen.
6. Used the windows "troubleshooting" program.
7. Ran aion in compatibility mode with windows 7, 8, 8.1
8. Camera set to slow, normal, fast
9. stopped all other background software processes.
10. Make out with my girlfriend
Nothing works...

 

Hello, the problem with your camera rotation is connected to the lastest Windows 10 update. You will have to downgrade your windows from 1709 to 1703 and you will be able to play.

@ AM cystalize, thanks for that advise and indeed it "corrected" the problem. I put the word corrected under quotations because it allowed me to play the game again. However, downgrading the operating system also rendered some of my hardware (e.g webcam) unusable, plus, every time I shut down the PC then start later, microsoft would once again install the updates, then the problem would resurface. Is there another way to correct this? Like a patch NCSOFT/Gamezaion side? I would really appreciate it.

 

Sadly, downgrading your OS will affect your app settings and hardware drivers. Currently, GamezAion don't have the fix for this.

 

Until the game updates, likely to 5.8 since that is where aion retail addressed the issue, this is the only way to solve this issue. So you'll either have to wait for an update, or leave for a more up to date experience.

I am afraid there is no other way to deal with this problem here on Gamez. The only way to fix this problem on our server is to downgrade Windows.

 

Didn't need to use that kind of language, but I was wrong, fair dos, closer to 5.6 than 5.8 then. But only way for gamezaion.com to fix it, is to update to latest version or, the version that has fixed said bug, since no coder on this server is able to write a fix just for us currently just to solve it, nor know exactly what's causing the clash in the aion client.

 

Only downgrade is the solution?

I took the plunge and downgraded 'for the time being' so I can play aion 5.3 on gamez. Can't use my 2 month old HD webcam though because of this.
It's sad when we have to downgrade our OS so we can play the game. But like AM crystalize have said, it's something we have to contend with as of now.
I also disabled auto update for windows. Hope there will be a patch soon...
