    Bug Name:
    [Quest] Why Did the Goblins Run Away?
    Bug Description:
    Cannot interact with runaway goblin worker npc or interacting with goblin worker npc does not complete the quest.
    How to reproduce/proof:
    Accept the quest. Find the runaway goblin worker npc. For some goblin worker npc, I cannot interact with rum. For other, talking to the goblin and select take button does nothing. The quest does not complete.

    This quest is very important for Velia quest tree. I cant learn anymore in Velia. Please repair or add knowledge for this one quest to my family. Thanx

    This has been reported many times now but it does not block further quest chains in my experience I just went back to Velia once I had a lot more Family Fame and most if not all quests were available to me.

    Unfortunately there does appear to be a quest chain and a single quest that require completion of this quest. You can check them out here. http://bddatabase.net/us/quest/1001/27/

    Also, it is the only way to get the "Goblin Worker" knowledge. So while not super important to the overall game-play it is more than just this quest.

    The "Goblin Worker" knowledge is needed to complete Velia Adventure Journal Knowledge, which provide 3 energy.

    That was something that might be well worth it though, I did not know this. In any case most of the quest chains here on this server are not an absolute since many of the quests that are inherent to chains are obtainable without starting or finishing the first quest, however I am completely unable to say which are other than the "Defeat X mobs" quests (down in southern Calpheon and on to Behr, Lake Kaia and so on) that were part of a Quest Chain on the Official Game server but on here they are freely available without the need for the previous quest chain to aquire them.
    Once again I am not saying that it does not matter but just saying that it might not be the end of the gaming experience since there is SO much more to the game than a title as well as a completed area and bonus Energy.
    I do really hope they fix this soon though so you can enjoy completing this bit of the game :)

    With the 3-12 Monday patch the Goblins were walking around before I talked to them and then the first one I talked to ran away. 2nd one followed me. So the patch looks like it fixed this issue. Got my Knowledge!!!!!

    Can GM spawn Goblin near NPC? I think this is most simply method.

    Fixed, once u click Take button u need slowly move from goblin and wait untill he follow u, once he in follow state u can slowly move to npc.

    Not working for me. I can interact with goblins but either he runs away before i can click "Take" (can't sue "R" key for this) or after I click "Take" and try to hit "R" for the next option. After one runs away he can't be interacted with again...

    NWM. It's extremely glitchy but it works. Sorry for the false alarm.
