Slow download speed

So this is a non-issue atm but last friday I left my download and this was its speed:

I was told to "block peers" but couldn't find anything in the settings. I came home 8-9 hours later and my patch was barely 90%. Friend of mine said his download was slow for 5 minutes but quickly sped up. I left it for an hour before leaving and still had that speed, so at some point it must have picked up I guess.

Anyway, was curious if anyone had similar problems and how they got a faster speed, so that the next time a patch comes I can actually download it faster.

 

I am not sure about this answer but I think that it is because of the Torrent like share ability of the GamezBD Launcher which in turn means the amount of players online will boost the download speed and vice versa (no players slow download). bumping this... it's patch day and yet again i'm getting .008 mb/s from 40+ peers. friend of mine said his download already finished, neither of us have tweaked settings on routers or anything.

Sorry to hear about your problems but I can warmly recommend using Tixati as a torrent client and just downloading the patch through the download link provided on the forum: http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/download-mirrors-client-patch-v678-community-provided.210022/

Just try it out and see if it helps at all
