So bad drop rate?

Is my character somehow bugged? I have premium, luck, item drop poppoed, 2 kama buffs. yet I wasted 80 energy and get 2 ahrd crystals only whereas rest of my guildies get 20 per hour.

 

What gathering tool did you use? Alchemy stone? What's your gathering luck at? Knowledge buffs?

100 energy with magical axe on fir and with spirit stone made me 5 sharps with 12 hards and 4 backpacks (Event). I am master 6 gathering.

Luck and gathering luck are two different things.

I will try with Magix Pick Axe. But a friend of mine gather 20-30 per hour with gree axe jsut fine but I think there is no difference ebtween pickaxes other than gathering time right

 

Your gathering level and node level can also affect your drop rates. Not just the +5 one, but this one also.

I get 40 - 60 per hour

 

I wouldn't say up to "60" per hour with a collection scroll. That's only with the drop rate event + collection scroll, if you're lucky. I have Guru 17 gathering. With the drop rate event and collection scroll, I can get 45-50 total normally. If i'm lucky, there are times where I can get 70ish shards in total in one collection scroll during the drop rate event.

 

That's why I mentioned the average, from low to high, that I get. It's also affected by node levels and such now as well. many factors for one issue, and any one of htem can change the results, plus the major rng factor.
