can i close the launcher when updating?

    i want to download the patch from direct link, but i dont know
    is it okay to close the launcher when updating? its say it will make the game corrupt tho

    No. If you already have the game on your computer, all you have to do is wait until the launcher checks the files, and if necessary fix/replace corrupted files. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.
