Rumour / F.A.Q clear up:

Hello - as some of you know, I spend a lot of time helping Kolka bug fix, writing reports, forwarding the most urgent bugs etc.. Today I'm here writing about some of the rumours that have been started and spread around like wildfire.

I'll continue updating this guide with rumours / FAQ that players might have.
Topics covered below:
P2W buffs | rates changing | VPNs | Streaming.

1. Can you buy bonuses with lots of RL money?
A: No, you cannot buy anything with any amount of money other than what is already listed on the webshop. Anything claiming otherwise is false or misguided speculation.

2. Are the rates always changing? Rates = Drop rates
A: No, the rates have stayed the same since launch; let me clarify something.

• Whilst the rates have stayed the same, there have been some balancing changes recently - removing spawns and adding spawns where they should not have been. This means that there could be an increase or decrease in efficiency but it doesn't mean that the rates have been changed.
• How are rated worked out: Kolka - "We take drop table from retail and apply our rates to that."

3. Are VPNs allowed on this server?
A: Yes, VPNs are permitted - any other type of program that allows you to read and/or write game memory are completely prohibited.

4. Can you stream a private server on Twitch/YouTube?
A. No, if someone reports your account, you'll be at risk of a 24 hour suspension and worse if continued.
A2. On YouTube, videos about private servers will be given a strike.

5. Will trading be added?
A. At some point, it will be, but not for a while - don't expect it any time soon.

Only thing putting me off even playing this is the fact that you have to reply to this rather than dev's or mods themselves. Atleast even Kakao staff, as bad as they are, have the decency to reply after enough forum drama. All i see are locked posts and no words...

 

There was a response to the locked thread about people "lying" - in that context, spreading misinformation.

We had people like Proto (leader of a guild) use his influence to spread information, and then when Kolka got mad at them for "lying", they didn't like what he had to say. I've heard that people are queuing up to leave to Bless Online when it comes, and I couldn't be more grateful to see the toxic side of the NA community leave as quick as they came, unless they suddenly decide to be less toxic. An old saying: If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

As for your first part, it is much easier for Kolka to work with 1 person and collectively put information together rather than 50 people and maybe get something wrong. This way, if something changes, he tells me and I update the thread. It makes things easier.

 

Is Kolka the only staff working here though? Because you make it sound like he's the only one who could have replied and is working on anything.
Also NA community leaving would leave the server with 100 member PvP fights of people running around with 200Ping, how great fun that would be... (Me included.)

 

You are claiming to speak on behalf of the server team and make this statement. You best clarify your remarks lest you truly find your server without a North American population.

Kolka is a team of people - forum Kolka is not Discord Kolka, as to my knowledge they are two different people. There is also a third dev behind the scenes. (I posted a picture of Discord Kolka confirming he didn't have forum access and it was deleted by a staff member.)

There is a massive difference from gathering information and posting it than actually working or speaking on behalf of someone. I'm entitled to share my opinion.

 

We brought a lot of people here and did some legwork to help this place grow (whether or not you get along with those people is irrelevant). I kicked your toxic ass out of my guild because of your bullshit attitude that you display so readily in this thread, Dakota (I.E - Calestia). Cry more—seriously. Just because we're trying out Bless online doesn't mean we won't still be playing here so don't get your hopes up little guy.

I don't know where you got this information from, but it is not true.

 

What an outrageously bigoted thing to say. If it weren't for NA players this server would still be under 1200 at peak times, the success and population explosion is directly linked to the community of NA players that came over. To lump us all in with those who "lied" as you said is outrageous.

Secondly, you can say that they don't "Change" rates anyone who actually PLAYED the game could tell you respawn rates aside there was something amiss (whether intentional or not, my guess is it was not intentional). As I have suggested multiple times now OPEN COMMUNICATION PREVENTS RUMORS FROM SPREADING. That is the Gamez team's job to control by truthfully and regularly communicating with the userbase that pays them for the service. (read: legally if you call a chicken a duck it doesn't change that it is still not a duck)

Edit: I find it rich that someone who was here before the population explosion which lead to many more geared people is anxious for the new geared people who out skill them to leave. We get it, you're bad and don't like competition.

 

I start to love the community and the staff i'm finding on this private server...lol.

The staff are an open book here. Noyah and Kolka will spend hours working with you to make sure you get settled in this server. However, players will have you believing otherwise or spread misinformation to try and get people on side and against the staffing team.

 

Yeah.... this organisation of rumors, open communication seems more of a mess than retail just from reading this thread. Im saying this because i'd love this idea of a private server to FULLY work and have a great community but fuck me, Every player says something different about every topic.

 

Would be A LOT easier IF devs/staff would post a full, upgrading sheet of all the stats the server have, while telling in advance what they would be changing, patch after patch, to the community..

 

I'm hoping that @Kolka taps in to the many experienced players that came here who know the game better—to make it better. For example, not knowing what a Down Smash was until FML tried to teach you might not qualify as a good liaison for building a balanced game. Ignorance is fine and all because people can obviously learn over time. It's important to note that the development team has a real chance here if they reach out to players that actually know what they're talking about.

 

Oh dear, you're really going personal on this, aren't you? My question was about Down Smash on a class I'd never played before, but okay, take it out of context to suit your argument on a completely irrelevant thread because you got caught spreading misinformation to cause the staff grief.

The aim of this thread was to handle information from Kolka and make it on a public format that someone can update and change without there being too much confusion.

 

Would be easier if they just released the database they're using. Scalings of acc, evasion, Enhance rates, item drop rates. Instead were going down the exact same path that Kakao did on retail release

 

that's stupid. Then every other server can use it lmao.
