Changing Client Destination

Hello, currently I am running the server via my retail BDO client, however I have just downloaded the torrent client and would like to switch the launchers client destination to the downloaded client. There is no settings options on the launcher to do this and I have tried removing the launcher via the launcher setups remove option and reinstalling the launcher but it still defaults to the retail BDO client. Is there any way to switch the client destination?

I don't get the issue. Poorly explained. What launcher and client when? Explain it a little better.

 

Okay. GamezBD is running on the downgraded retail client. I want it to run with the torrented v683 client instead. How do I switch between them.

 

Copy and paste your retail BDO folder into a new directory. Reinstall the GameZBD client and set the path to the copy of the original BDO files you just created. Done. You can now use the GameZBD and retail Client. As far as I am aware only seperately since some document files get accessed by both clients if you have both versions running and it causes problems. Correct me on the last part.

 

The problem I am having is when I reinstall the launcher I do not have an option to select the new directory at all. It still defaults to the retail BDO directory. Is there a way to change this?

Also you are correct that they cannot be run at the same time.

Edit: I have tried using the remove option from the launcher setup, then restarting my computer and then reinstalling and this issue still persists.
Edit: I have also just tried to redownload the launcher setup and I am still having the same issue.

 

When you log out of the launcher, you can click settings in the upper right corner. In this menu, you can brows for the location you want to path to.
