Striker Awakening Minions Broken?

I was told the reason why not a lot of striker population in game is due to the fact that Striker minions don't deal any damage. I was able to uncover the thread for the issue where minions did not spawn and that was fixed, but no mention as to whether or not striker minion damage was corrected. Does anyone have any info or insight into this? Love the class, would like to be able to play it efficiently.

 

Should have been here a month ago. Striker was the population.

The clones got fixed around 2-3 weeks ago. At least that's what I've been told. Do not play the class myself.
