Bug Description:

Incase you dont know wizard/witch can freeze people in a short window while they are about to get up and part of while people are getting up from a knockdown, bound, or floating. This doesnt work on the private server​

Sorry to say this but my Witch does not have what you are talking about, she only has the two skills the Wizards also share which are: Freeze & Frigid Fog (Back+E & Back+Q)
I am also sorry if I did not understand what you were trying to say in your post but as far as I know the Witch/Wizard does not have any skills that need to be triggered when people are getting up and the two skills above work as long as they aren't on cooldown

Errhmm this is a guess but I think I finally understand what it is you are saying; the Crowd Control skills when they affect a mob or player on this server a special buff is applied so the affected cannot be Crowd Controlled again immediately, there is a waiting time of about 2-5 seconds before you can CC them again. As I said that is a guess but it does seem to fit since the Original Poster said "when the player is about to get up again Freeze does not work" (yes it is paraphrased) which leads me to believe that this invulnerability towards CC's is a way to save people being constantly Crowd Controlled and unable to act or fight back.
So in order to answer your question; YES there is a CC invulnerability after having one affect you, which means you have to wait a little bit before you use the next CC on your enemy or else it will not work as intended.

 

i dont think you are understanding what im saying at all... i can still grab them in that window, but i cant freeze them, because freeze is broken

 

Sorry to say this but a bunch of things are broken on this server however the Witch Freeze Skill (Back+E) works just fine, the mobs do get frozen in place and cannot move for a small period of time so I am once again sorry to say but this is not actually a problem. Sure there are problems with hitreg where the game on your computer registers a hit and even adds health and/or mana per each hit without ever hurting or hitting the actual mob and you can hit them up to 5 times or more before the server registers that there is a hit, this could be the root of your problem where to you none of the mobs are hit by the Freeze skill other than that I do not think I can help you.

 

Ok, let me try to explain it in different words, just incase what i originally said was confusing: The skills freeze and frigid fog do not work as they where intended. They still work on people who are standing up, but on the main servers you can knock someone down, and than freeze them while they are standing up to extend a cc chain. This part of the freeze does not work on the private server

 

Then I can only refer you to my earlier message where I said that there is a buff on this server that makes it impossible to CC someone all the time which is why if you just wait a little bit more before trying to Freeze them it will work.

 

the way the cc resistance works is after you do a certain number of ccs (if i remember correctly it is 4) than you will be immune to all ccs except freeze. This is not the reason for freeze not working because 1: cc cooldown doesnt apply to freeze, and 2: it doesnt work even if its only the second cc

 

Have you tried using it on many different mobs or is it only in PvP that it is an issue?
