The World Boss Problem

There are less and less people participating in world bosses now, than there ever was. Statically, tomorrow there will be even less, and for some world bosses, no one will even bothers to show up. This wasn't a issue in the early days of the server, but now more and more bosses are despawning at such a high rate, it's time to bring some attention to it.

I've created a chart detailing all world bosses that have despawned in the last 2 weeks.




As you can see, Offin a fairly new world boss is the most abandoned boss, surpassing even mudster (by 1). I think it's time to start discussing ways to obtain more lucrative types of loot from world bosses. Hopefully, this will make players more inclined to participate.

While I understand this is a PvP orientated game, these resources enable pvp, and newer players will suffer the most as opposed to established players.

Unfortunately, the devs don't have the power to do anything to the loot tables unless it's an event trigger.

 

Dont add more loot, but fix the boss encounters first and foremost.
