Bug Description:

Quest Name: Investiagion for a Report
Quest Detail: Investigate the Petrifying Workers

Step that is bugged: Investigation of Petrifying Workers, aka grinding knownledge with killing that mob


What is bugged with that step: I can not get any knownledge of Petrifying Workers. And while I was doing the quest, I got knownledge of surrounded mobs but not the quest object's. I grinded more than 40 min, collected 3.5k crystals which mobs drop. Which shows it must be bugged.



How to reproduce the issue: Try hunt/kill the Petrifying Workers with a character that has not any knownledge of ` Ecology => Ecology of Calpheon => Quarry `​

3rd picture is after I tried a day later, got another knownledge but not the quest.

What your experiencing is good ole rng. It's obtainable just keep killing them.

 

what king of RNG is that? Will this RNG make me hunt them for (instance) 30 days?

And I do not know when you did your quests, but right now it is insanely wrong. I never get this far RNG on other mobs. I had boring long hunting moments, but all of them eventually gave me knowledge.

I will try everytime I am online. Mark my post, I wish it to stay open. I will inform when my knownledge book changes.

 

Tested, its work fine, chance near 3% in kill, just continue kill them.
