Marketplace Needs to be Fixed!!!!

For someone of us end game players, alot of things in this server are broken and you can't do ANY of the end game content because they are all bugged. Once you hit 600 GS and lv 66, the only thing ... literally ONLY thing we can do is do RBF and even then we have to wait for RBF weekend to do it. So our only option since we can't do Hysteria since it's bugged or Aakman we have to settle for PEN Witch / PEN Narc earrings and gear alts. Now I will say for me and for alot of people the way I make my billions is from the Marketplace but now I make damn near nothing and no one does because the marketplace is busted. PEN max price have drastically jumped to 14b for no reason and no one buys from them unless they are exchanging silver and certain things that are flooded on the Marketplace won't drop in price so they never sale aka Seraps / sitting at 40m with 1300 on market and Language scrolls at 1.6m and no don't say that it's due to the playerbase getting so much stuff when I've kept track of the Market of Seraps. In a day about 20 Seraps are bought, this means you only grind for what you want. You don't grind for silver anymore and this was always the case but to release a patch with the Lahn awakening where PENs are not extremely overpriced and crashed our market at money making? like what do you do at 600 GS? like nothing lol and eventually quit. There is a ton of bugs that need fixing but I know this forum is FILLED with the complaints so no point stating it again. Just revert the marketplace back to how it was before Lahn awakening plz. a Damn PEN Dande shouldnt be able to be posted for 12b. Same with DIM tree and Urugons posting for 10-12b like what???

If no changes can be made, make a Bot or something that just buys out items that have been sitting on marketplace more then 7 day time limit. Once it reach 7 day limit, it gets bought by a Gamez bot that has infinite Silver.

 

Hmmm, I want to say something nice and supportive here but I am at a loss really...

The way mainstream-mentality-people play games nowadays is really as if they are trying to win some sort of imaginary contest: If only they make it to the end-game as quickly as humanly possible, which is the problem.

So by playing a game in that manner you will ALWAYS run into this problem and then if it is an "official" game you all start pestering the staff to make a patch/update to add content to the end-game, and then you all go through that as if it were air and you were drowning. Once again you end up the same place and complain even more about how poorly balanced the new update was despite not giving the people working on it enough time to actually make a worthwhile product.

Alright so not ALL players play like this and still on this server end up with the same problem of "not having anything to do" which is of course bullcrap because a game is playable as long as you like playing the game, mind you NOT the content ONLY the game. Yeah I know it sounds weird but when have you @WolfSaint ever played this game on this server ONLY to travel around and do some quests here and there without ever thinking about the rewards or how it leads to the next thing?

Sorry I am presuming on your behalf, the thing is that this game is just a game, not a bragging contest where you invite your friends over JUST to show them something you got in a computer game, or a way to get rid of whatever frustrations and anger you have by behaving like mainstream-mentality-people in general while online towards complete strangers who have done NOTHING towards you at all; instead of taking all of the shaite out on the people who actually deserve it (I call these people COWARDS).

Sorry once again to clarify: I do not think you @WolfSaint are one of these people, but it does not look to me like you are taking a stand against it either, you are litterally just making things worse.
You already know that the list of bugs on our server is huge and that there are a lot of things on the Retail game that simply have been left out of our community, so what are you doing with this post really?

COMPLAINING is not really a useful superpower, if it were ALL of humanity would be superheroes.

Comon @WolfSaint we all know the problems but the people who really like this server are the people like me who like playing a game because it is a game that is fun and interesting, sure there are moments on this server where I have to stop playing due to stupid little errors, but the thing is that these errors are exactly the same errors I would get on the Retail game; like when the Character suddenly stops moving because of a ground-level difference of about an inch and I HAVE to use "jump" in order to move, or when my Character is blocked while RIDING where the game completely forgets that my mount alone weighs enough to pancake pretty much all mobs that aren't mounted themselves or bigger than the mount.

So all in all, my rantings aside, this is not really helpful to our community m8, try making a post with actual suggestions if you really want things to move in a good direction, also to the people who are just game shopping not giving a shaite about the community I say: GOOD RIDDANCE!

Sure we will lose population but it is also because the M-M-people start playing new games as soon as they are released, then lose interest only to go on to the next one and so on... I would love to be able to fund the server by myself for the love of the game (although the game could be a whole lot better) but I would only do it so that everyone could try it out and have fun while playing, no ulterior motives at all, just for the fun of it which to me makes all the difference in gaming mentality, you should really try it out one time

So sorry if I hurt your feelings @WolfSaint I was trying to take a stand against something you weren't talking about, yeah the maket place really could use some help I agree, however it would be quite difficult to make a suggestion without somehow messing with the balance of the game as it is now, yeah I know not that balanced.

 

You didn't hurt my feelings and your opinion shows that there are people who have their own way of viewing a game as fun. Maybe to you and maybe you play it a certain way that me or another person does not enjoy it for. Maybe you like making horses and diving into having a harem of horses. That is your style of play and that is the main thing BDO brings to the table. The problem though is that BDO brings ALOT of end game content to the table to the point that there is alot that people can do in order to entertain them but the fact that on the Gamez server, there is something wrong with almost every end game content to the point no one wants to do it or it is not duable at all. Prime examples would be
1. End game Grinding Locations : Gyphinn / Aakman / Hysteria are all undoable, and yeah you will have those few who will be like OH I CAN DO IT JUST FINE ... but doing it fine to them means " exploiting" an aspect that steals away the fun of doing it, that is not fine to me.
2. Nearly every class has some bug or broken aspect to it that basically limits your choice of class when picking something. If you are unaware of the broken things about every class, look on forums since i am sure there are plenty explaining why.
3. Trading : Disabled ... literally cuts out 5 Life skills in go (fishing / cooking / processing / alchemy / farming ) There is literally no point making a worker empire. You can reach end game 600+ in 1-2 months just abusing gathering.
4. Node Wars : Forts can only be damaged with summons aka Striker Clones and Witch / wiz lava pools.
5. Siege : Not out nor near being released
6. Vell content not out
7. Lahn down smash does not work and their damage is 50% gimped. No reason a 296 AP Lahn should spend 10 seconds killing a Softcap player lol. When every other class but Sorc and Warrior do it in 1-2.
8. Marketplace is dead due to the lack of players buying things or needing things on the marketplace and majority of the items you can't undercut the price to make them worth buying. Like Seraps forever stuck at 40m when it should be down to like 10m.etc

So much more, and i get it. its a private server ... they literally take info from the live client and recreate it on ours so they are limited and i am sure it's hard as hell to do no doubt. But don't say i have mainstream-mentality-people mindset when something you enjoy more then any other game does NOT work as intended to the point all your hard work gets you to nothing. Granted video games lead to eventually nothing and quitting and moving on, but MMOs were created to create something and do something that is either everlasting or continiously changing with updates. You aren't going to sit there and say you love basektball, but have to play every game in flip flops, with a bent rim and flat basketball in 120 degree weather and sit there and NOT complain or get frustrated. If you say eh i dont care i just play to have fun and that's it, then you sir are a casual normie that has no backbone of competitiveness. Complaints come from the people who actually give a shit the most, who will actually sit through bad lag or long maintenance just to be loyal. If they didn't complain that means you don't actually care about the game or the developers. If the game shut down today, you would just shrug and move on and you can't say that is true if you thinking complaining about something that doesn't work is not a just cause.

Your incorrect about Sorc and warrior, as well as Ninja, they have bugged RNG Damage because of cc's and certain damage skills being at +4%-+7% accuracy on skill.
For ninja its Serpents, BSB, and Katana Shower, for Sorc: violation, turn back slash, and GRJ. Warrior (some awakening skill I don't play that class.
Its an Accuracy issue with awakening skills and the level system for accuracy. same with lahns cc's.

3. Even if they implemented trading, they'd have to do a lot of math to figure out how to make them even worth your time and not be completely stupid broken. Horse training alone is already more profitable than sieging on NA + any afk life skill.
8. The only pens available to buy are the ones that are enhanceable enough by themselves. Huh, go figure. As for why accessories are just sitting on the market... I literally have no clue. It has to be either 1. the hackers who were buying everything up are now banned and there's a lot less duped silver in the economy 2. Everybody is broke 3. Someone is hording tons of silver for enhancement day. or 4. The hackers have stopped trying to be so obvious and are buying things in small amounts instead of just ripping the economy apart to fail pen crescents repeatedly.

I wouldn't put it past the damage formula being crap, but I'm pretty sure it's not an rng damage issue. It's an accuracy issue, period.

The biggest problem with the quote I highlighted is the fact that there is no such thing as "normie", I am so sorry to be the one to tell you this but the notion of "Normal" (when spoken in context with humans in mind) does not really exist just like the word Perfect (or God for that matter), if you do not believe me then look it up. The very notion of mass-mind-mentality (mainstream-mentality) is in fact what you are trying to picture as a "normie" and the only thing that come even close to that notion of there being a "Normal" human-behavior is what I describe as mainstream-mentality. Simplified it has to do with; monkey see, monkey do. When enough people "like" something online it usually gets spread like a disease and that is what makes mainstream things, not the content or the words or the idea behind whatever is being spread, it is in fact JUST being spread because people do it, not because it is good or helpful or useful in any way. Hence my whole ranting at what I call mainstream-gaming-mentality, it is just the same when someone post something on our forum that is the easiest and quickest way to success (getting everything in-game within a month) then eventually enough people will have tried and recommended it to others it suddenly become the ONLY way to play the game, and "God help you" if you do not know this specific way to play because EVERYone will ridicule you for not knowing or not doing it.

So I will try not to make a big deal out of it when I meet people in-game making such claims, eventhough I see it as the very end of our community since they will all get to endgame with max gear and have, as you pointed out, NOTHING to do due to the heavy workload of the very limited staff. It is insane to think that you should be so privileged as to have this amazing opportunity of playing a game for FREE, where-ever you might be in the entire world, gain in-game currency WITHOUT spending any money at all, AND STILL YOU FRAGGING COMPLAIN?!?

I get that there are a million and one problems, but if you cannot do something about it yourself, as in offer a formular/equation that solves some or all of the problems with the coding and graphics, then complaining is NOT really going to solve anything EXCEPT making everyone else who wants to join our wonderful community think twice about it after reading how you are putting down these super-hard-working-people and their work/project.

I agree something must be done with pricing in MP. Most of items which sell on retail like fresh bread rolls are sitting here on MP by hundreds. Either rise NPC vendor price for sellable items or lower the MP price.

Price of Valencia accessories and other expensive items which are stacked up on MP should go lower. And price of functional armor and other things which no one is selling should go way higher. So people actually experience wholeness of the game, have many ways of making profit, and not just do bosses and grind in the mean time.
