About wallshooting reports

Hey, guys! I have uploaded a video to show you how a visual bug can be responsible for sb's ban. So, next time you want to report sb for wallshooting make sure that the person who's attacking you is fully aware that they're abusing their skills. Standing still and receiving a couple of hits doesn't mean that the shooter had any intention to abuse. This happens to me all the time and I bet I am not the only one...



PS: @Zeresh I posted this video after I saw your report. Take a look and you'll understand why a couple of screenshots or a short video (by a person who's simply accepting the hits without moving) shouldn't be enough to ban sb for wallshooting.

 

but why sometimes this guy practitioner still hitting me when im hiding in tree, he still reaching me even im hiding in rock or trees in that part of video you upload down there. This guy is abuser, like nosweat and those gunner in asmo but not all.

 

My intention wasn't to say whether he is or isn't an abuser. My intention was to show to the community and especially those who tend to report wallshooting why they should be careful when reporting sb. Every cheater should be banned but unfortunately if we are not careful, innocent ppl might get banned too. If I were a ranger for example and didn't have a video that proves that this was a visual bug, I could have been reported and banned simply because my target received all the dmg (you can see that on my combat log). Unfair, no?

i think this is only visual bug, sometimes when he is online and still hitting elyos or even me, it make me irritate. I've already hide those branch of trees but he still reaching me and gaining damage, i'm melee class and i have nothing to do but always hiding because they have many asmo's wandering around. It's really annoying.

 

yeah.. its really unfair, i hope this gonna be fix(visual bug).

 

I am sure it is, but you can simply record him and report. If the video is clear enough and you're not just standing still to be hit, then he will probably get banned. Not every occasion is a visual bug, nor this should be used as an excuse from now on.

It is, unfortunately, and the only purpose of this thread is to warn ppl to be careful when attacking near the base and also when reporting sb else.

 

yeah if my video is acceptable, he ban but just warning and still do what he do it then. I think prison is enough more likely many hours or month should enough i guest can prison those abuser to learn lesson them. But when he reach 4 or 5 warning i think that should be perma ban.

Wall shooting isn't a serious offense, since you can avoid it most of the times by changing your spot. That's why the bans are progressive as shown below...
