Remote access

Hi, are you going to fix soon the remote control not working? Is there a program i can use on my phone at the moment? Remotr and TeamViewer are broken now, only mouse works

 

The new anticheat blocks third party software.

I don't think the gamez staff will be working on it any time soon.. I think they've got a fair amount of bugs and future updates to work on at the moment. And I don't think there will be a fix since SmartGuard's purpose is to block (all?) 3rd party software like Lareldal said. Which is really unfortunate since I don't think any harm could come out of remote access programs, simply more convenience for those who are often not at home or at their pc.

 

Like i said in the other thread, im gonna see if theres a workaround for the "smart"guard
I always use vnc when im at work and some of my friends that are also players now have the same problem

 

Well, that thing is actually a big problem for a game like bdo. I can't even process or cook or anything else in this server while afk. I don't want to make money with horses like almost everyone is, but i want to atleast use a remote control system >_>

There are still bots for this protection so the program can be avoided just need to figure out how or how to disable it

We should probably ask the devs or GMs to clarify if it is acceptable for us players to create exceptions or work-arounds to allow 3rd party software like teamviewer through smartguard.
I'm a total noob with programming and things like that so I can't contribute much to this topic either..

 

Well this is not for any personal gain or to get ahead or anything but I agree that maybe someone of staff should give their thoughts on this first
