Stack of items disappearing​

Bug Description:

I went to use them earlier today, and noticed that I my stack of 102 Trace of Savagery that was in my inventory is completely gone. I checked all storages, waited for 45 min to make sure it wasn't in transit anywhere. All I have left is 11 left that I had stacked separately in a city storage.

Not sure what might have caused it, and doubt I'll be able to get them rescued, but I'm mostly just curious if this happens often, it was quite an investment of time to obtain and it's going to suck if it happens often.​

How to reproduce/proof:

Not exactly sure, it has happened before with a small stack of grapes as well now that I remember, but at the time I wasn't sure what was going on. Seems to randomly occur when trying to move items between inventory and storage.​

 

Curious why this was moved to resolved, still have no items, and no idea how I can avoid this from happening again. Feeling pretty frustrated using so much time and just having the items disappear. Is this a known bug, and if so is there any way to avoid it in the future?
