Enhancement Rates Nerf solved!

Hi there. I had an extremely bad time trying to get my gear to PEN (still have). Used at least 400 mem frags and 400 artisans to get my Awakening weapon to PEN. Today I checked my "enhancement-calculator" and it felt off with my successes.

Instead of starting to whine like 99% of the people, I went to BDO-codex to figure it out. And what do you know... PA has nerfed and increased some of the enhancement bases!!! I don't know when this happened, since I haven't checked it for a while, but it feels like it has been changed recently.

example armor:
PRI >> pre-nerf: base > 15% : current base > 11.76%
DUO >> pre-nerf: base > 7.5% : current base > 7.69%
TRI >> pre-nerf: base > 5% : current base > 6.25%
TET >> pre-nerf: base > 2% : current base > 2%
PEN >> pre-nerf: base > 1,5% : current base > 0.3%

So, here's the answer to the horrific-enhancement-adventure-rage many of us, including me, went through.

No they are not. Do you have some evidence to back up your claim? because I took the pre-nerf values from BDO codex not even 3 months ago.

 

Sorry, I thought you made this thread pointing out its a very recent change, I didn't mean to come out as aggressive. I have been using bdo database and codex (before the domains split) for a long ass time, the base enhancement rates were pure theory till a big data mine in late 2017 that reviled base enhancement rates, shakatu box gamble rates and more.

 

Well, I joined this gamez server to play the game, take away much of the stress I had on retail, but that looks like the stress of enhancing and grinding is going to be here too. I love playing but not when I cannot enhance my gear without jumping thru loads of hoops and spending lots of money. I know waaa, waaa. LOL

 

Still note that on this server we have much different enchant formula. I recommend using the XLS file posted at tutorial section at discord. You can write down ammount of failstacks and it will calculate your chancec of getting each item lvl.

Premium gives a chance of 32.8% of getting pen and 25.3% without premium ?

 

@Akrel No. The base is with 0FS. Play with the numbers on the sheet and see what changes. Read before you do!
