    I put the launcher and bdo in my firewall exeptions but still frozen at this point. I even re-ddl the launcher (from gamez website) and pointed it at existing downloaded folder. any help?

    Problem solved (the oooold way), just find someone who plays the game with a updated copy of the launcher, copy the launcher on USB key and instal it on your computer.
