Caphras are not selling.

Due to the overabundance of these stones in the marketplace and to the lesser demand compared to when they came out caphras do not sell anymore, not even at minimum price ( which is what they are listed at as of now ) .
Now, if the ability to trade pearls for artistans and artisans for caphras was truly meant to be a mechanic introduced to allow new players to catch up more easily it is plain that it doesn't work anymore.
Any plans to solve this issue or to implement another way for new players to catch up with veterans ?

 

If, from the first day the kolka npc was put on, a daily sales limit per family had been set, this would not have happened

 

I don't know why would you think that this has anything to do with a catch up mechanic... You can't force enhance with caphras in gamez.
Caphras trade was a big mistake, killed even more the lifeskiller base. I don't know what Kolka had in mind, but a lot of lifeskillers have quit because of that. One less incoming for us.

 

Working as intended. They nerfed horses into the ground to massively reduce income, and introduced caphras trade ins as a temporary workaround for new players/to give vets a method of p2w cashing in as well as to reduce the amount of pearls people have stockpiled. It was never meant as a permanent solution. That said, the whole market collapsed sooner than I thought it would. Jeez.

its still free 1b a day unless you are full level 20 already. People are not supposed to get free money anyway, cuz it crashes the economy. Kolka should have buffed gathering/grinding after nerfing horses tho, as asked. Something should be done to encourage pvp too, like better rbf rewards or something.

 

I'll agree to everything before the point about the RBF rewards. Unless RBF gets an AP/DP cap, RBF will always be impossible for players under 620-630gs. But yes, I do agree to buff active grinding.

 

There's over 750k on the market on NA right now, it sucks because im new to this server from retail so i was hoping to make a decent amount of silver to help me out a bit but that isn't going to happen now lol

 

It's not if barely any of those stones are moving. 750k caphras on market means 750 days or 750 people's daily worth of stones are sitting there. This was just a half-assed cover up for nerfing horses into the ground, and a means of making some money from progression-greedy players.

Time to train horses. Enjoy that 2-4 days worth of training to make what people made in half to 2/3 of a day. All according to plan. Slow new players progression to a halt so they don't leave, but they leave anyway since they can't keep up with old players who already have full pen and high/max levels of caphras investment. Brilliant.
