New player c:

Hello, I am practically new at "X"Desert Online, I have never played retail, but I started yesterday playing CDO... but the game is kinda, unpopulated and buggy.

I would like to know about this server, I've seen the rates yes, but anything else that differ positively to CDO?

Last time I was in CDO is was a ghost town, largely empty (on NA). For me, it gave me English voices but all Korean text for my quest log and various quests given by NPCs. Some had translations, some did not. Cash drops were dismal starting out, leaving you starved for silver as you leveled up. Various bugs made the game problematic to play. Some people got lots of pearls fast and others had crappy RNG and didn't get pearls at all.

Here on GamezBD, the game is far more stable. There is a solid population (on NA). You get 80 pearls every 30 minutes while logged in, so you can gear up pretty fast. Cash drops are plentiful to get you started. Far fewer mobs fall through the world in GamesBD. More features seem present and working. Between to the two it seems no real contest right now - GamezBD simply owns CDO in comparison.

 

I live in EU, anyone from EU can tell me about the population of EU localization?
If it is more stable in NA, I prefer playing on NA, but I'd like to know if the server is located in NA east, so I wont have that huge delay latency. At Central NA or NA West makes my ping 300, but at NA East, its only up from 30ms in EU to 90ms in NA East, so i wont have much problems in terms of delay.

Gamez is better than CDO, but retail is a better experience than either if you're willing to pay for basic necessities starting out. If you can't pay for anything, then Gamez is obviously the way to go.
