Important 7.0 Update Schedule

The game/server run for such a long time. I think this is the best time to made a decision like that. To make the server back from what it was before like players grind for everything and put a hard effort. I'm excited and really looking forward to this new start. Thank you staff.

So the admin and staff are decide to wipe/reset all player data because of the abuse by doing a shortcut way,why cant u even announce abit early.i dont care about gear,i just care my remo that all,ingame already hard to find player from singapore,malaysia and you doing these jeez.

this is the start of something so right...
it would be an advantage if i update my Aion to 7.0 and then when
the live update is coming i only download the the Gamez launcher for easy play and see

Sadly if this comes to pass (and based on past experience it most likely will) I will have to delete the Gamez client and Aion in general and just move on. Losing all those shop/event stuff for which I've put effort over the past 7-8? years is what kept me from ever going full retail, knowing that I can always log back to my chars and enjoy the stuff I've collected over the years. I have no idea what transpired during the past 2? months, but surely it doesn't warrant a full wipe out? It's not like 200-300 people did this? Anyway, I've said my part, and If they do the full wipe, this will be my last gamez post.

I play the game just like you and I have a pretty large collection of rare stuff such as pets, titles, costumes etc, and yet I have no problem with resetting characters and items. Whatever you have managed to get by now, you can also get in the next update. There is no difference except that this time everything should be simpler since you won't have to spend credits on gear. Unless you decide to purchase gear that is not considered the best and thus you will waste your credits. In order to get Dark Talon which is considered the best, you will need to do daily and weekly quests frequently, instances, battlegrounds, altars and sieges. For people who do not have the patience or time for the process, or who simply prefer an easy life, there will be decent gear in webshop for a low price.
I personally spent a lot of time making this update as close to perfect as possible, and when I say perfect I mean that everything works as intended and that includes altars, forts, quests, instances, custom events, features such as pandora complex, registry system etc. I am fully aware that some people will have a hard time losing stuff they have collected for a long time, however, we will host as many events as possible to have these items back into the game again.

Release date has changed from 18th to December 20th, next Friday. Sorry, but I have to be around just in case something goes wrong

 

Two scenarios, one would be playing the game with a lot of bugs and focused on pvp and remembering the good old days with TONS of remos on your inventory or getting those old remos removed(thanks to dupers) and get the game as close to retail as possible with little to no bugs with crafting with farming with pve, forts, etc.

Change is scary but maybe this is for the better of this server.

Let the gamezaion shine again with PVPVE and not just PVP.
