[Mechanism] Deputy Tokens

In the description, it clearly says: "...for reporting GOLDSELLERS ONLY...abuse will be a bannable offense...".

Now the thing is...There is NO GOLD in this game at all, the game-currency is silver...yeah might be a bit too litteral there, but still could be easy enough to edit that text. ALSO There AREN'T any "goldsellers" on our servers, at least I have NEVER EVER seen someone offering Pearls nor Silver in-game.

So my question is quite simple; What do we on GamezBD use these things for then?

GamezBD-Staffmembers answer would be preferable.

 

Ppl complaining about spam on Chat Server were the main reason why we got those, but this token works only to Chat World.
Yes, we do have gold in this game. Don't forget that we can trade silver for golden bars. Also, goldsellers aren't relative to gold/silver only.

If it is about Server-Chat spamming and/or abuse of server-rules, then THAT is what those Deputy-Tokens are for, and the text should then be edited as well as their function in-game, to mirror that.

It is true that as a weight-limit "fix", as well for Transporting, Pearl Abyss introduced Gold-Bars, BUT you do know exactly what I meant...or at least so I believe...that you are being a bit too litteral as well as trying to be a bit funny as well, I get it

The thing is...the CURRENCY is STILL Silver, so the Gold-Bars are merely a medium to either save weight when carrying them, which no longer makes ANY sense due to the new currency-weight system, OR to Transport some Silver from one City to another, which Funny enough also No Longer makes ANY sense since the introduction of the Central Market, where the Silver can be deposited from anywhere without needing to be in any specific City anymore.

About "Gold-Sellers" not being relative (related?) to the gold/silver only, I do believe I said so in my first post;

Also...there is still a Gamez-Site rule about Trading with Real-Life-Money, which is to say that they should REALLY make some sort of ruling about the players who STILL say things in-game like: "WTB x-item, for Pearls, or Premium" or anything even remotely related to that form of trade, as soon as it is about Pearls or Premium-especially, then it could be about Real-Life-Money, and therefore against the rules of Gamez in general.

Hehe...Why not bother to ask for something that could be done in about 5 minutes? Instead of asking for something that takes up a month of work...like if they just edit the text of the item so it is obvious what they mean, but if they opt for changing the mechanism it is (I suppose) a much bigger undertaking.

Also yeah there are a couple of quests out there that do require Gold-Bars...true, but that could be swaped for pretty much anything else in the item database, so it is merely a matter of time before (hopefully) that is changed too.

Deputy Token is an item that was added in Black Desert Online to report chat spammers, and it was granted by the BDO support to report players. Having one of those would make you a sort of "Sheriff".
As you can read on bdocodex or bddatabase:
Description:
It is used to control abusers of the Megaphone item.
Only available to renowned adventurers.

In GameZBD you can see it being added in the patch notes of 28/10/19 to report players in chat.

In other situations Kolka said that the token is used to report players, and if you would just click on it you would see what its meant for. Its not hard to some researches instead of making a long post for nothing.

And for the goldseller thing, a gold seller is someone that wants real money to buy items, and this game was full of them. The words "gold seller" are used in most MMORPG such as World of Warcraft, and changing it to "silver seller" would be useless.

I just hope mods will stop banning wrong people and check how this guy makes non sense posts
