Help me for a minute

Well obviously something is wrong when I wake up, log onto the forums and see 3+ threads about lack of GM response.. So I'm here to ask, what can I do to try to help out more? Constructive criticism please, I don't want a flame thread..


I'll even admit a flaw in that sometimes when I'm online I might click my status to invisible, but to be fair I avoid this unless I'm getting badly swamped and no one is around to help me. It's hard trying to deal with 8 peoples dye requests, while getting reports of people flying where they shouldn't be, and why did that ranger just do 30k damage with one skill? These are just excuses, I'll admit that too.

So really, help me out here ^^;

not as much critique of you but as of the server overall. its just ending up to be one of those days when people let out all their frustations. sorry your at the butt of it, you don't deserve it. But of course, thats not true for anyone. the fact that one of the staff who abused powers and managed to bluff his way out of it probably did not help though

 

Maybe so that it's not just one person being swamped the GM's should actually appear online when they are online. It's sad to see events or "dye events"inched: appear, and yet the name doesn't appear and no GM online rofl. Gm's should be available to the players in game, I mean, isn't that what you all signed up for??

 

This is what I prolly do
Announce what will you be doing dye event, hacker reports, events. If you announce that people should read right xD so if they /w you about other issues that arent related to your current activity just ignore because younare specifying what you doin.

 

get more trustworthy gms to help you!

I agree, I signed up because I really enjoy helping people out, and being a GM really brings that out of me. Honestly we're all guilty of this invis thing, I wish it could just be taken away.. but at the same time I wish there was more GM support available so that if there wasn't an invis system the support issues wouldn't all be getting shotguned at one person. It's not my place to ask or demand more GMs from management though, but it'd be nice to see a couple new faces ^^

well, i already pressed the TY button since u just did the most important step - admiting u was wrong. obviusly, fixing *or correcting* 1 gm wont help, so what i suggest is thus:
1. faceslap all the other gms to stop being ignorant snob *piiiiip*
2. since u got a certain talk with carlissa just throw them a word about the presence of useless gms who r here to.... well... stand in circle and chat with other useless gms on there isolated islant.

one of the bugs id have to mention is the bundle material item>im currently tapping aether and i get greater and pure and wtf i dont need them i want aether.

 

rofl i hope that will be the last bug they handle, they are much worth things ^^

I'm glad that the GM's have an "invisible" button! Seriously, Adeiu and the other GM's are volunteering their time because they like the game and want to make it as good as they can for the rest of us. I can understand them getting swamped with requests and needing to go invisible for a while to catch up on things or to just take a break.

I think the GM's are doing a good job in a bad situations. I'm sure they, WAY more then the rest of us, want to see the server bugs fixed so they don't have to deal with as much crap. The only thing I would criticize is the dye requests. Yes it is awesome for us to be able to dye our gear just by PMing a GM, but there are much bigger things for them to be dealing with (hackers, exploiters, scammers/dupers, etc). I would much rather run around in gear that wasn't dyed if it meant not getting hit for 45k damage or having gear poof because you just traded for duped items.

Maybe set up a certain time slot where one GM will dye gear on a first PM'ed first served basis, and outside of that time GM's are not available for dyeing gear.

but seriously, all experiences I've had with the GM's on this server have been positive. Keep up the good work guys!
