what happened to gamezbd

so i came back after months to gamezbd all i saw is nobody is speaking english in chat what is this?

 

Weird, i see alot of people speaking english, maybe try to use chat filters to get rid of other languages

 

i see almost nobody speaking english maybe 1-2 person in 100 messages weird

 

I actually agree with this...if it were English speaking players overtaking the SERVER-chat for personal conversations, they would have been shut down LONG ago, someone just telling them to use the Whisper function instead of taking up the ENTIRE server-chat. I already know what the "trolls" out there are ready to say: "Are you a Nazi racist?"

Except race is not what humans are...they are a species, and the extremely old-fashioned notion of Race is actually an outdated and dumbarse way to look at the way humans look, because that is what it used to be based on. Races were introduced to make the "white-supremacy" an actual thing, so they could readily take that word and abuse it to mean of lesser birth, less than human, basically slaves. So no, if you have ANY brains, do NOT use that word as it is not really at all useful in the way you are trying to use it. If you MUST try to distinguish between different continents you may use sub-species of humans, as in inuit, of asian descent, africans (the first people on Earth), or Native Americans (America is the ENTIRE continent North Central and South), and lastly the "whiteys" (mainly from scandinavia and nothern europe). HOWEVER THEY ARE ALL HUMANS, so there is nothing at all different about them at all, except the way that media has portrayed them through the last 80 years or so.

Well the thing is...without being able to read what they are talking about I have litterally NO clue if they are abusing the server-chat or not. Yeah sure I COULD choose to turn on the English language filter, but then again I speak more than one language, so I prefer to use the international language filter while in-game, that way I may help out more than just the players using English. Just to make the previous statement a null-and-void one, it is equal to just "blocking/ignoring" ALL players who are using a different language at that moment, while not leaving room for them to use an international language in the next moment, since it is really shameful nowadays if you cannot use English, there is litterally NO acceptable excuse for not learning it on your own.

So NO, I do not think that it is acceptable that I HAVE to use the English only filter, while there are players on our server-chat who are almost CONSTANTLY blabbling in a language (yeah I am envious that I cannot understand ALL languages...YET) that I am unable to understand. So I DO AGREE with the Original Post, that it is really weird that no-one has set some "standards" about what the different BDO-chat-channels SHOULD be used for. For example I suggested (some time ago) that we could use the World-channel for all those players who want to blab about Trade, and use the Server-chat for questions and answers to help out all players who need help while in-game

Yeah I know that was a lot of superfluous stuff there, sorry about that...but I think I did end up adding something constructive to the thread in the end.

 

Na server is 90% asian now and they are toxic af

 

server chat is not english speaking chat so it is not forbidden or anything ther is only 1 server chat and its international speaking so if u don't want ot see them block or use filter
