Eye of Desolation bugged

I have eye of desolation in my inventory but can't sacrifice the eye of desolation at the brazier HELP pls

 

Did you defeat the boss first? I did the Blackstar weapon quest not long ago and it worked fine, except the boss fight was a bit buggy at the star debris part.

 

there's no boss to fight with

 

So i choose tarif, ran all the way to tarif kill 1k helms completed quest then go back to Brazier but no boss

 

Thinking about it, I did do it before the recent hotfixes.

How the quest works is once you get to the point you pick the hard boss or easy boss, you heat three boss weapons to get essence, make the Eye of Desolation via manufacture, go to the brazier, interact with it, then go down to the meteorite and fight the boss after a short scripted event. Once the boss is dead/defeated, you go back to the brazier and sacrifice the Eye. That's how I did the quest at least. If none of that works, then submit a bug report about it. When I get a chance, I might check it out to see if it broke during the most recent fixes.

 

yah that's what suppose to happen but once i got to the brazier i interact with the fire pot thing and nothing happen

 

After you interact with it, you go to the meteorite, and no scripted event, and boss appearing? And did you hand in the Eye of Desolation for the weak version since you did the easy boss quest line?

 

I can confirm, the quest is working just fine. I did it on my Shai just now. Make sure you hand in the Eye of Desolation for the weak version at the NPC in Tarif, it's part of the 1k helm kills quest, and make sure you accept the quest from the Black Spirit afterwards to go to the brazier.

 

cancel Co-op boss kill quest, change channel and use item on brazzier
