Problem launching please help

Hi gang,
First time trying to play on the server and am having a problem launching the game.
Please excuse me if this was in the FAQ but I could not see the solution there.
From the launcher I log in and click start, from there smart guard launches.. disappears and pops up with the launcher again.. no error code no nothing.
I have added the folders to my exclusions list in anti virus software and even turned it off completely.. still no sucess.
Any ideas?
