BDO Launcher terminated while launching?

Well I just downloaded the game files then downloaded the launcher. I dont know what is going on. Here is the error I get below:

 

Check good your file. Maybe something is missing

 

You can make a file-dheck from the launcher, and it is a good solve for most problems, but what I wanted to ask you was to add a "Solved_" to the title of the post once you have figured it, along with a description of how you solved it, since it will be very helpful for the GamezBD staff to do so

 

I have 2220 downloaded. It happens when I double click the Gamez BD Launcher., I wont even open

Hello. Its odd because I still don't understand what is happening. That error appears after I double click the launcher to open in. I put it in the 2220 folder but still did not work

 

Well the thing is...DO NOT put the Launcher into the same folder as the Game

It has to be in a folder apart, so if you just move the Launcher and any files created by it, out of the BDO(GamezBD-version) folder, Then run it, you might have a good chance at solving the problem?

 

Wel... Still doing it sadly. I just dk. I have it in its own folder... Ig I am just not meant to play

 

Well, if you just re-copy the downloaded GamezBD-version of BDO, which is the MAIN reason to download it from the mirror-site, in order to have an unaltered version just in case you will have to re-install, to the drive where you want it (deleting the old version-ALL of it). Then redownload the Launcher, put it in a folder next to the game-files (just to make it easier), BUT not into the game-file folder, and run the Launcher, when it asks you where the game-files are you use settings to point to the right folder. Make sure that your files are set to run-as-Admin, and as an exception in your firewall.

Think that SHOULD do it, hopefully this will help you.

 

So I tried it with v2308, It still has the same problem, I did exactly what you said and it still did not work

Here is what i have done i have the v2308 version and retail in 2 separate folders.. I tried launching the laumcher. I still get the error. Both are clean installations. I have added program to the firewall. Even disabled it. I even disabled my Ani Virus. Im still getting this error. I don't understand at all

Sadly no.... Im still trying tp solve this issue. I have tried even contacting a member of the team but only got 1 reply which i haven't got anything after my last message. Ig its not important so im just gonna not worry about it anymore

 

What windows version are you running, and are you running any third-party software atached to the GamezBD-version?

Have you be any chance accidentally put the GamezBD version into another BDO-version game-folder?

Is the Launcher in a folder on its own, and have you made sure that there are exceptions for both anti-virus and firewall, as well as running the Visual C++ exe-file in the game folder in the Redistributionables folder?

 

Im running windows 10 pro 64 bit

I made sure that it is an exception to both Firewall and Anti-virus (I even tried it off)

It is in its own folder

I have not tried running the C++ though

 

Okay, there is a folder in the GamezBD-game-folder called "redist", in there is a file for installing the Visual C++ versions all in one. I ran it myself the last time I had trouble with the game patch, of course I cannot be sure because I made other changes as well, but the game worked just fine afterwards.

 

I tried again and now get a different error sadly

So I looked, Had it installed. Reinstalled it and I am still getting the same error

 

I would just recommend going through all the easily implementable solutions on the Common Errors and Solutions page, IF deleting your GamezBDO folder (username\appdata\local\GamezBDO) and then running a file-check Doesn't work.
