What's the point of this forum?

When players don't agree with a change on the server they come to the forums to discuss those changes, the problem is when the players attempt to discuss the changes or happenings on the server the thread is locked and the players are told to stfu and deal with it "albeit in crossed words to make it seem like saints".

My payment history on gamezbd speaks for itself, and it's going to be telling another story here shortly.

Just for your information, they have actually been answered by the devoted GamezBD developer @Kolka, so I simply cannot see why it is that you are "overreacting" so to speak. I do get that some players will want to hate and therefore use ANY excuse to act out (like little children by the way), but in general the GamezBD community takes these things very seriously, and the staff REALLY wants to hear from the community, but as it has been made quite clear now, the problem is being worked on, and it is NOT a permanent solution that will never be corrected with future updates.

So while GamezBD is sad to see players leave, it is not something that the staff nor community can prevent, players will ALWAYS arrive and then leave again, that is just the way of things. If you want to donate to the server, I am sure that EVERYone on the GamezBD community will be grateful to you, and it will surely be what makes the server keep its wheels turning, but to assume that your "payment history" will make your opinion or voice on the GamezBD community any bigger or more important is simply not true, so do not fool yourself into thinking that.

In the interest of keeping that vote going, the threads weren't deleted as would be the Obvious response to a "no-criticism-policy" forum, as you are accusing this forum of being (somewhat indirectly), the thread with the vote is still working, can be accessed and be voted on by all the dissatisfied players, AND there would also be a MUCH easier way to do this: "Make a vote on the GamezBD forum", since there is NO reason to involve a third party site in what is happening on GamezBD.

I truly hope that you aren't going to go all aggro on me now, for trying to answer your personal dissatisfaction with what has happened, also to make sure that GamezBD and my own views remain seperate, as I am not part of the upper echelon staff and can therefore only make my own views known (which aren't neccessarily shared by the rest of the staff), and while I can be "testy" at times, I do want to apologize for anything that I say which might offend players, the facts remain that the amount of bullcrap the staff has to endure, while offering a free world-wide service, is insanely disproportionate in comparison to the amount of thankful congratulations they get for their hard work.

 

I dont think what hes referring to is lashing out but rather just locking the topic and saying no further discussion when the whole community is clearly trying to talk to you and express their passionate opinion about their issue with the new change and you're like nope this is locked, gm already made his choice and your opinion is useless now

What thread on this topic is still open? In telegram if the admins is watching and you say anything against the change you're banned from telegram with your messages deleted.

 

I just got banned from telegram for saying the only thing this server has still going for it are the pearls .. nice job keep going, don't be surprised when the player base goes down and you earn less money

The thing people are complaining about was said to be a permanent feature that would not be changed. The thing people are being banned from telegram over.

Well it could all have been avoided if ONLY you, and everyone else who is complaining for that matter, had read the statement made by @Kolka, where he makes it quite clear that it was NOT an intentional core-game-change that was made, but a "fix" for a problem, and now that it has been made VERY clear by pretty much everyone, that the change has made some really unfortunate side-effects, he and @Carl are all over this, like the many other things they need to tackle in general, AND build the new content as well...so as you might not be aware, they are really swamped with work

 

To quote and how i understood your sentence: Since you might (more doubtful since you said it yourself somewhere on forum that nothing is shared) have Staff info and generally watch over telegram aswell i assume, does this mean we get an easement further down the line? Not today not in a week but when it is ready?

According to the latest answer i know from Kolka (PVE Change Post) he will not tackle this subject but if anything like this happens in the future the changes they will do will be done seperatly for each Category without the massive drawbacks.

We understand that the devs are swamped at work and we are thankful for their hard work but what you fail to understand is what the people are COMPLAININg about is not something that is going to be fixed.
Its according to kolka a permanent change to how monsters (farming pve mobs, not talking about scrolls or bosses) will act and how hard they've become with the ap cap.
We are not complaining about the teleporting mobs or the bosses since we clearly understand those are just bugs, the community is complaining about normal mobs being ap capped and harder than what they were.

Hopefully this goes thru and you can understand our frustration.

 

This is completely fair and understood in full, at least by me, but as you yourselves said, I am not really in the loop and trying to keep up with everything that is leaked, mainly through Telegram, is quite difficult for me since I too want to engage in MANY other things in real-life, other than having to spend every waking second on the telegram app, watching for some sort of update. So I mainly just look at the proper page on telegram for any update-news that I might have overlooked.

Basically what I am saying is that while it seems to be a terrible blow, to the core-game-mechanisms that you know and have gotten used to, so far, it is no different than ANY other Giant change in how the game works, where we have had probably around thousands of complaints in the past, about this or that now being changed, no matter whether it was a bug to begin with that simply had been fixed.

I personally have no idea what the huge fuss is really about, I mean things aren't going to be THAT different from what they were, are they now?

What I would suggest you do in reality, is somehow make some videos to compare, how the grind used to work (there MUST be an archive of vidoes somewhere), and how badly it has affected the overall game-play of the new system now.
If it is NOT just the amount of time it now takes, then I am on your side that things might benefit from a few tweaks, but if it ONLY affects the amount of time it now takes to do the same as before, I am all for the change personally.

 

Just go play on another server problem solved
