Quest= no combat XP

is it intentional that the quests that give you combat xp as a reward is broken? i.e. you get no xp for completing the quest at all
i was following a guide to quest for leveling. i did all the quests in the guide and my xp did not move at all. All the quest give combat xp as reward, i wasn't sure if this is a bug or intentional on this type of server.

 

bdocodex.com open this site, find needed quest and look xp reward, also u see in game xp reward. Not all quests have it.

 

NONE of the quests that give combat xp actually give xp is what i am saying.

 

What level are you ? after a certain level for example 64 u won't even get 0.001% from a quest.

 

Yeah, that was exactly what I was going to ask myself: "What level are you currently?"

At some point the amount of Experience you gain from quests, is going to diminish to the point where you are unable to see the progression.
Also the amount of "Combat Experience" is Never actually listed as a number, which means that it is entirely dependant on your level in comparison to the "level requirements" of the quest. For instance doing the "Combat Promotion" (https://bdocodex.com/us/quest/695/2/) quest, at around 56-58th level, brings you character level to around 61-62, but if you do it at level 62-63 you barely gain 20% level increase. So the amount went from up to four levels, down to less than 20% of one level, actually it has been quite a while since I have done it, so to be fair I am not actually quite sure how much it grants, but it IS less than a level.

also my archer is level 58 and i still dont see the archer ascenstion quest line in my journal

 

About that specific Class, the Archer (male version of the Ranger), they actually Start out with awakening, a bit cheating, but therefore you do not get to do the questline for awakening for Archers. You can from the start switch between their Awakening weapon, the Longbow, and their primary weapon, the Crossbow.
