Been away for a few months, client forcing a giant download?

Hi,

I've been away for a while and now it says it has to update or somethin but this takes so long literally entire night, this must be several gigabites or more, what is this update? was there a huge update in these past few months? or is something going wrong with my client?

This is AFTER the epheria/great sea update. Has there been a huge update after that?

 

Yes, we had a huge content update in August for the O'Dyllita content which included Hash and Guardian awakening/succession + all the successions for all classes (minus Hash) that were missing them. It's highly advisable to use the community provided download link to download the game rather than trying through the launcher because you'll be sitting there for quite some time.
