Question to the administration of the BDO EU server. Immediately apologize for my english. But I hope you will understand the basic information.
Question? Why is there no normal notification of the Russian-speaking community on your server. About events on the forum and game events and their descriptions. All information appears either late or simply not relevant. We are also participants in your project. Almost no one watches the alerts in the telegram channel because of toxic users and because of the stupid information in the channel of the Russian-speaking community (sorry there is no channel discord, it was more convenient and informative earlier) It is possible to somehow improve these areas. Many users of our community either have little or no knowledge of English.

You've got to understand this game isn't only developed for the russian comunity or specifically russian players. Sure there's a client version to help with that by making it more comfortable to people who are not fully acknoledged to english. After all we've got both EU ( that contain multiple countries ) and NA versions of the server. The easiest way to approach the comunity as a whole is by using the most common known language by a vast majority which is English. Nevertheless, you can always use Google Translate or ask other players, even on NA there's a couple russian fellas players. I'm sure some would be happy to aid with some information.

English is the most widespread language in the world and is more widely spoken and written than any other language.
That said, you must understand that GameZ Network is an english speaking community made of multicultural players, and it's not different with our Staff. We have staffers from Israel, Russia, Canada, Brazil... But, due to what I stated before we all use English to communicate.
When it comes to forum support, we do try to answer in players language, which we are not obligated to, but we make that little extra effort and try to make every player welcome by trying to communicate and help in its own language. We're always using Google Translate to contact with Chinese and Russian players, which players should also be doing to translate and understand everything related to the game/server. When it comes to Official Events, Announces and such, there's no easy way to write it in every single language for many reasons, so again we use the English because, as stated before, it's the most widespread language.
Black Desert Events are hosted by me and @Puffery and I can confirm that we're always trying to make every player aware of it, we do announce those forum events in game every now and then, but players also have to be interested in participating on our community, which is the Gamez Network Forums.
I didn't wanted to talk about it, but it was not easy for me to login on EU to announce the "Help Save Christmas" event and see players being toxic for no reason saying that they didn't wanted to participe in this "bad event", thinking it was just another screenshot event, which was not. Meanwhile in NA players started to wish "merry christmas" to each other just because I had announced the event. Yeah, we do make extra efforts to please the community, but when things like that happens it just break us and next time we start to think "is it worth it?"

I'm not talking to you about the support of the players (Tech support), but the events that you hold on the forum. The last Event to save Christmas, notifications in the game are not a ghost note and that's it .... And finally, let's see the results of your event. Where is at least one player of the Russian-speaking community? And Kolka is engaged in technical support for you and he is a fine fellow to cope with his task and even more!
And this applies not only to the Russian-speaking community, and other players who do not know your global language of communication.

Now I want you to go there and check the winners, do it how many times you need. I wanna see what you'll have to say when you see that the two top winners were from EU server.
And just to reassure what I said before, we CAN'T login into NA and not going on EU. If we give support in a server we have to go right after to the another one. Same happens to the announces about forum events.
Btw, you may speak your mother language here, actually I rather you to, if you don't crop words or use slang, that way I can Google Translate myself and understand you better.

There are 19 sub-categories on the forums for dedicated languages. Now imagine the languages that don't have their own dedicated sub-forum. If we write it in Russian for the Russian community, we would have to translate it another 18+ times for the other communities as well to be fair. Can you imagine the spam and chaos that would cause not to mention how long it would take to do that in a system message? It is much easier to type it in English which can be easily translated to any other language that any other community within the game can speak.

There is a reason there is no Discord and probably never will be. And on Telegram, you do not have to be in the chat channels to receive information on events. The telegram bot doesn't require you to be in the chat rooms. You can also subscribe directly to the event forum category and receive email notifications when there are new posts here on the forum.

Guys, you have 3 main communities. Those who see the dialogues are Russian-speaking, Turkish community and English. You can at least somehow write more legibly for us. Well, so that at least through a google translator we could understand the essence or description of this or that event and its requirements. I'm not telling you make 120 languages and write to each. At least Simplify the description for people who do not understand English and make some announcements in the game itself (more often and so that they can be seen) And not a couple of Gray notes for a couple of days.

    Sorry for my bad english;)

We do not have only 3 main communities. We have many more communities than that. We have Spanish speakers, Portuguese speakers, Korean speakers, Chinese speakers, and many more. The moderators for EU are also the moderators for NA. The Admin for EU is also the admin for NA. There is no dedicated NA or dedicated EU moderation, it is together as one. The text for the events is simplified. There is so much text we can put in the system message. But we will try to make it more simple going forward to fix any communication problems with the communities.

Off-topic, but: There used to be a discord server for Gamezbd. It was shut down by Discord because they don't allow illegal private server communities, and also because Kakao personally asked them to take it down. Actually, it was so bad that the BDO Feedback Library discord would auto-ban you if their bot saw you were also a member of the Gamezbd discord. But yes, that is why the Gamezbd staff use Telegram instead of Discord. It doesn't have anything to do with the number of communities within Gamez or anything else besides Discord's policy and the actions they've taken against Gamez for Kakao.

I know there used to be a discord, but thank you for elaborating one of my points. I wasn't aware the discord legality drama was that deep with the bot.

And again my questions remained without answers,

I asked certain questions. And you, as usual, left them by moving on to another topic.

the first question was. It is possible to make the description of the events and the conditions of these events on the forum more understandable so that not only the English-speaking communities but also all other participants would understand. (This applies to events that are held on the forum or arranged by the administration in the game)

I have already written about other questions three times, I look at the answer and will not follow.

one suggestion would be to make a post in russian and ask for an explanation, it might be easier for someone who speaks your native language to comunicate and explain better than we do.
I think the moderator answered your question quite clearly, from which you can deduct your answer.

Are you a moderator? no . Are you an administrator? no. Then what are you getting into the conversation.

The question is. When the event is held on the forum or in the game. Writing descriptions and requirements is understandable for all communities. About calendars, I probably won't wait for an answer from Karl or his representatives.

The answer is simple friend. A server where many people play who communicate in different languages. And most of them do not understand or misunderstand the descriptions or requirements of the Event. And at some events that are held in the game, they normally do not anticipate all the players ...

This is where they can then ask questions. If they don't understand something, they can ask questions. I have had people in game ask a question about the events I have held and they immediately went on to the forum to participate. I have had people even ask me about things on discord.

I understand that you wanted only an answer from moderators, but please be nice. You posted in a public forum under discussions so you will have players responding to it.

And I answered that question twice and said we will try to make it even simpler than it has been in future events. I also told you that the question you asked, you posed it as a suggestion, which is kind of how this thread sounds. We have taken note of your criticism and will strive to do better in the future. But as I said earlier, everyone can ask questions of they do not understand something. And since your question has been answered, I will be closing this thread to prevent a flame war. If you want to discuss this topic further or any other event held by me or
@Chiclete , you can start a private conversation with us or you can message me on Discord, which ever you prefer. Puffery#4573
