    My problem is that I try to change the font using every possible means or guide but nothing works. Please help

    Open Launcher Settings and disable the verification of language updates.

    I noticed that setting has stopped taking effect after I pre-downloaded the newest version and copy-pasted it into my main game folder. Not sure if that was the wisest choice but I've noticed that no matter what I do, my font won't apply regardless of that setting being disabled/enabled. Perhaps it's just me.

    Anytime. I'm giving your problem as solved and closing the topic. ^^

    You should never do this way, don't copy-paste a new version over the old one, make a clean install or you'll end up with a bunch of old e non-used files, going bigger than the usual 30GB the game has...
    PS: We're still running the v2886!
