Solved I lost the quest item

By mistake, considering it to be a random item that fell from the monsters, I destroyed the object for the quest.
Could I get it back? I skipped the mission, hoping to get the item back, but the chance of hope.

I destroyed that item because it did not mention in the description that it is a mission-specific item, as specified on other items offered from NPCs. And that made me confused.

The object's name is Sacred Bautt Slate.

As I mentioned in the first message, I tried to redo the mission in the hope that I would receive the object back, but that did not happen. That's why I created this thread.

EDIT: Does not matter. It was not necessary to cancel the mission and redo it. I just had to accept the mission and go back to the NPC to tell him I lost that item to give it back to me. This is also specified in the mission description. I was very careless, I apologize.
