Question about Dyes

I have a few questions about Dyes.

1. Some items cannot be dyed. [ Grand Chieftain, Abyss sets & ETC ] Is there anyway to dye those items without the help of a GM? I read on the forum that you can remodel with a dyed item and cancelled the remodel. I tried that method and it does not work.

2. Do GMs sell Dyes via mailing? I'm talking about colors that can't be found in the NPC. [ True Black, White, Red, Hot Pink etc ] If they do can anyone tell me how to get them?

If you want to dye the actual item, and not the skin, then, no sadly you will need a GM's assistance.

However if you just want that item as a skin, that is easily done. Just skin the undyeable item to an item that can be dyed (like a common piece of gear sold by NPCs), after that, dye it, then take the newly dyed item and skin it onto the gear you plan on wearing.
