Solved Server Chat Missing? Solution offered

I already ran a Forced-File check, and although I had restarted the game a couple of times, for the new patch, there were plenty of files that were updated, however still no Server-Chat is being displayed in my game

 

As you can see above I did have a missing server-chat, but now I have found out how to solve this dilemma.

Everything I did had no effect, deleting temp/cache folders, running force-file checks, the usual. BUT then I realized that the server-chat would briefly exist, when logging into the game, just one or two lines and then afterwards disappear, no matter what settings I chose in the Settings menu, OR the chat window settings.

I then saw this wonderful little button at the top of the Settings Menu: Reset All

So -reluctantly- I had to reset all my settings, in order to get the server-chat back, and while it is a pain to have to redo all your personal settings, it is certainly better than having No server-chat at all. Hope this helps any of you out, who've had the same problems.
