Character Switching

Hi, just curious to know if it's possible to switch my characters over to the East side server. Been playing on the west side for awhile now with.....somewhat allright ping's, depending on what time it is, but with playing on the east side server I should get some really good ping's.

Any advice is appreciated~

 

No, it is not possible to move characters from one server to another.

 

I'd rather have an admin tell me this then a general user, sorry.

It's really more down to the fact that its the admins that are the only ones who can truly say if they can or not, so for a general user to tell me its not without an admin actually stating it somewhere on the site/forums then I can't take it as complete fact.

Sorry but its just how I look at some things.

sad though, i wouldn't mind putting one of my char's on the new server , would be fun, ^^

 

Afaik it isnt possible (yet), as both server use different databases (that is mentioned somewhere). But hopefully something that can be implemented in the future (i think retail has such feature, but i dont know what that one works) as gamez would like to spread its userbase over both servers.

 

Databases maybe different, but the data input would be the same, I've run servers myself and I definitely know its possible to do so.

But its really down to the admins if they're willing to do such a thing, which is why I'm hoping an an actual gamezaion admin will reply to this.

 

I have not been informed whether it's possible or not possible to transfer one character from Siel to Lumiel, so someone higher up may have a better answer. Considering this is a private server... Character transfer requests may be out until Carl or someone else clarifies its possible.

 

Carl has already stated that the East server is for people who wants to start fresh again.
It is not transferable.

 

So in a nutshell, we need to wait till Carl says if we can or not.

I have also run Aion Servers and it is possible but it takes a while to do. If an admin agrees to do it for you, they'll have to do it for everyone else who asks and it would become very VERY time consuming. So, they'll probably say no. Plus, the admins aren't exactly active or devoted (I'm talking about one in general).
