Just wanna bump this thread, just lurking around every few years or so just to check on my old aion mates. Who's still actively lurking here?

 

I just started playing again last week after 4yrs, PVE is good but PVP's kinda boring. Majority of players are on Ely side tho there's so few Asmos, ratio in game is 97%-0%

was thinking of playing gamezaion again
i just observed that the leveling is low rate, is it same as the retail type of some sort?
are the end game items still acquirable thru voting or can be farmed in game?

 

you can ask for help other players by mentoring and pay to win is no more so basically you can get item thru in game. And there's no item can obtain on site only for remodel i guess.

For me, Gamez Aion now,

Looks just like the Old Highschool/College pub you use to hang around with your friends after an ordinary school day Friday night, as winners after intramurals, a night birthday with your friends, a night to hang around before the long semestral breaks and a place where you say your sweet goodbyes to friends and failed hopes as you move on life...

Now time has pass, the owner is still the same, the place was refurbished, new guys behind on the server, new picture boards with people you don't know, except for one picture board of the good old days of 1.9ver-2.4ver was left for good... your favorite table spot with your friends to hang-around is still there but no one else there...

Long time has pass, the great guys I meet are long gone, few of them are just taking a peek in the forums once in a several years. I came here out of Nostalgia few months ago, to see what's like, the old guys here who made it warm are long gone... but this is the part growing up, like making a fine aging wine... It's sad, quiet, but you can still smile look back... and move on just like the rest of the guys who are long gone.
