Info Open World Coins & Goodies

There are countless ways to encourage Open World PvP and we have chosen a unique way where in addition to the fun of killing each other, you will also be rewarded accordingly!

Open World Coins:

PvP Coin, Kaldor Coin and PvE Coin will be stored in your special cube.
There is a 15% chance of getting 1-4 coins from each monster listed below.
The monsters were chosen within certain ranges to prevent large groups of players.

Hey,

I think it would be interesting to add coin rewards when killing a player in one of those 3 maps. You made a feature to encourage the pvp in OW with good buyable items with coins that we can get in PvP maps but the main/only way to get them is to bash mobs. Its a bit paradoxical no ?

Thinking outloud - you might want to reconsider either the amount of coins obtained/chance to get coins or the prices for the daily items. At face value of chances it seems like a big pain to gather enough coins, to be able to afford the daily limit items.

Remove the reward when spamming killing some1, just like the abyss points ?

 

No, we have thought of everything and the options are limited. It will remain as it is.

 

Appreciate the context and looking for ways to get people outside of afk mode in town. Still a net positive overall. Just need to see how tidious it'll be to farm the coins.

Sorry but the mobs in Akaron are mainly those on the Asmo side, where you take Valpurah entirely, while on the Elyos side, limit the Marching Route area to the one between the camps. It would be fair to have the same amount of mobs on both sides, so as you consider the Rynoce and Ettin on one side, add Woodland Rynoce and Plateau Ettin that are on the other, to have the same portion of the area on both sides.

Would it be possible to add new items to the rewards lists ? Just to keep things fresh.

 

in response to this, can you do it like the random rewards for PvPing? like right now we get random stuff, titles, manasontes, ap, pvp gear etc, so why not add it as a random reward within that system?
