Little help

Hi guys,

I joined recently and I've gone through the guides here and had a little help from people I know in game.

As a new player, I know I should be voting, keeping client open when afk/asleep/at work, doing solo dungeons and doing group instances (honestly I've been a little afraid too, I don't remember a damn thing and I'm a Templar).

What should I really be focusing on to best increase the speed of which I obtain pvp gear? It's really all I'm here for. I know APES are the main currency and I've been grinding those in Akaron mostly, and the pvp zone (SWB?) along with collecting keys.

Mostly I just don't want to waste time doing something that isn't optimal.

As well, concerning consumables like pots and scrolls, they seem kind of expensive. Is there a vendor? Should I focus on crafting? Is the path for crafting as arduous as it was on retail or is there increased XP with that as well and so it won't be so bad?

Being active in siges/events/battlegrounds and farming is the most optimal way to go. I know it's not fun to keep losing, but you'll still get rewards that will accumulate over time. Given the RNG of Awakening Antriksha boxes, I would suggest focusing on getting a Holy Set (Star Officer Gear) that way you'll have better chances on winning or pvping and while you gain more coins, you can simultaneously get Awakening Antriksha parts. It's also best to be active PvE Runs for a while. Look for groups that are going to Lost Rentus Base and Sauro War Depot just to get a little tankier, usually having these kinds of gear can be good for Makarna, where you get decent mythical items.

There's no vendor, except the Gamez Coin Shop, but don't waste your coins for that if you're just starting. But if you're in need of scrolls, it's best to start leveling up your Alchemy Profession. In my experience, I can get my Alchemy profession to 399 in an hour (more or less) if you do it right, and that's without any amulets for XP boosting. Just do work orders that are 30-40 levels below your current level. It's a lot faster to craft each item for the work order and get XP quicker.

 

Get VIP asap with your vote credits, it pays for itself if you get 7 days, and more than pays for itself if you get a month. Gamezcoins will be your main source of income for a lil while, I highly suggesting using them to buy evo stones and exchange them for apes, theyre very easy to sell to players for apes, you will get around 80~ of these a day if you stay logged in the whole day. That's almost 80 apes a day. Much better than gambling on AA chests, where only 2/3 times you will get something worth selling (since the accessories are usually not worth the wrap they need), and even then you will need to +20 whatever you get to sell it, which means needing apes you dont have at the start, the net profit you end up making in the end isn't that great, and it also takes WAYY longer to find buyers for AA gear than evos, which are already much better bang for your buck and have no risk/rng associated. I suggesting using the APEs you get selling evos to buy mail attachments for eternal abyss gear and buy someone's already enchanted +20 set, I see these sets go for as low as 200 apes on asmo side (but usually around 250) and they are honestly better general use sets than full AA set (AA set is more useful for niche things like full MR sets, etc but the holy abyss set gives very high pvp stats in comparison). You can usually find a set of 4 star access, which is the best access set you can buy other than imperial (which are pretty much the most expensive gear pieces you can buy on the server anyways), for around 250-300 apes. You will need 16 mails for access set without the hat, and 13 for the for the armor set. The hat you can skip buying, you'll want to replace it pretty soon with an HM hat, which you purchase with 100 honour medals, participate in every pvp map boss, siege, and weekend bgs and you'll get it fairly quickly (this page is gonna be your best friend for keeping track of these https://gamezaion.com/page/schedules/), this hat can be tempered to +10 and gives insane pvp stats, its the best in slot hat for pvp. For weapon, if your class uses 2H weapons, like bow, staff, greatsword, polearm, etc, buy a mythical weapon wrap for around 20-30 apes and an AA weapon for 100 apes, usually you can get both together for around 120 apes. (you can buy the wrap for gamezcoins, but do the math and see how many evos you could have bought for the same amount, which could be exchanged for apes to buy the wrap from someone else). Your first character will get a ton of ancient coins from survey, use that to buy an AC weapon to fuse under your AA weapon. If you're playing a dual wielding class, you'll probably want double AA weapons/shield instead, or you can try to find someone to sell you the eternal abyss weapons.
