Guide Gamez AION 4.8 - Coins for AP

NOTE: This guide is with asmodian locations for the coin vendors. For Elyos locations ask in your community

There are 2 type of coins that can be converted to AP. Details for each of the coins you can find below.
The principle is the same:
- gather coins
- got to the specific camp and exchange the coins for <> (you can flip the camp if not your faction)
- use the command in chat .decompose (right click on the chest will add it to chat) - this will open the boses and there is a chance for equipment to drop
- find the shugo that buys pvp equipment in Akaron and sell all armors and weapons (one of 3 shugos that spawn near a random camp)
- if you have the resources, extract the AP using extract tool for the necklace

Platinum coins camp:
Beluslan, East of Hoarfrost Shelter

Gold coins camp:
Morheim, Mist Mane VIlage Entrance

 

Excellent recommendation, but I would like to add a few points to your post.

-Use .decompose if you cannot open the box due to level differences.
-Spending credits on hammers to get AP in gems is not really profitable, even if you only use them with the necklace. If you have the resources, you can do it.
-You can level up characters to level 46 and get the two coins mentioned and exchange them for a storage account to get more item attempts per AP.
